completely satisfied

The location was excellent.....right on the edge of the historic sites and museums. Could walk to everything. The attached restaurant has great food and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Only downside to this hotel was that valet parking was necessary and quite expensive.

Great Value

This Hotel is a Gem, it has everything you need in a modern setting, The only issues that you need to be aware of is Parking is not Free, Water leaks from the shower glass, and the swimming pool is so small, but other than that the Hotel is great.

great room at a very nice hotel

My partner and I were in New Orleans to attend Southern Decedence, over Labor Day weekend and had a very nice stay at the Omni Royal Crecent. The front desk staff were efficient and very helpful. The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is an easy walk to the French Quarter. The only negative comment would be the roof top spa was pretty grungy looking and since it was so hot and humid in N.O, the thought of sitting in a hot spa was not appealing.

Excellent Choice

This was my first visit to New Orleans and this hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. Initially, the only downside was the outrageous nightly valet parking fees, but I soon realized that was normal. The location was great and within walking distance of the entire French Quarter. I also have to say that the employees were extremely helpful!

Perfect Wedding

My now husband and I rent a room for our wedding, which we decided to get married only 3 weeks after knowing each other, and found this to be the perfect location to the wedding chapel and in our price range. We arrived a little late, the service was excellent and they even competed a a bottel of wine for the wedding night. It was a wonderful room and we had a wonderful time.

unexpected changes

I booked this hotel through Hotels.com, paid for it through them as well. When I arrived to the hotel all I wanted to do was check in and get up to the room. I was told that since was using my check card ( that has visa on it) that I would have to put another $50 a night on the card. The $50 was incase I ordered room service, valet parking, made phone calls or pretty much charged anything to my room. So in short I was now $200 less with my spending money and they tried to charge it to my account twice.

Great Hotel

Was taking my son to his college orientation and decided to stay at the Royal Crescent. The location was not great for the college stuff, but perfect for after hours. We had a problem with internet access, but after discovering what the problem was, the front desk staff immediately moved us to a room that gave us computer access. Had a drink or two in the bar/restaurant, priced well for New Orleans. The rooftop pool and work our room are quiet and out of the way. Rooms are good size and very comfortable. Would stay again.

love hotel--great value

Beautiful hotel and very clean---lovely beds great staff there are only 2 things that need improvement---the wireless connection in the hotel room is really poor/constantly disappearing---very annoying!! also--the valet takes too long to get car even when not busy upon check out they took over 3o minutes

great hotle for the price

I loved the room although it was very cold, but for me perfect. The location is great and the rooms clean and very nice. The only draw back is the price of parking.
