Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 148Excellent hotel
The Omni is situated right off Michigan Ave. and is close to some great restaurants on Rush St. The hotel staff could not have been nicer. The only disappointment was that the room was right next to the ice machine and, therfore, was a bit noisy.

No one ever mentioned that there is a fee of $49 per day to park your car there. Other than that..Hotel was great!

Wonderful hotel, much better than the Drake. Beautiful view and clean. Only strange thing is that the lobby is on the 3rd floor, and you have to take 2 elevators to get to your room.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 148So many hotels downtown, go ELSEWHERE
I'll start off by saying that when I pay a lot for a hotel, I demand a lot. Omni falls short. From the check in staff having a little attitude, to the room not looking at all like the pics, cleanliness being so/so, to the part that ruined my stay. The bed was horrible! I couldn't sleep at all on it, lumpy, old, just not up to par. For a hotel at this price, I expect a lot more. I will not return here, and recommend people reading this to go elsewhere. There are hotels in downtown that will appreciate your business.
Hotel Response
We're sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. We do apologize that our front office staff had a little attitude. We want our guests to feel welcome when they arrive. A comfortable bed is such an important part of picking a hotel. All of our king, queen and double beds are Serta mattresses with double-sided Advance Comfort Quilt pillowtops and feature innerspring coils and perimeter edge foam. However we do understand that a bed can’t provide everyone with the same level of comfort. We do offer rollaway beds and sleeper sofas, but unfortunately we do not have alternative mattresses. We certainly appreciated your business, and we hope you will consider staying with us in the future.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 148LOcation, location, location
You couldn't ask for a better location for shopping. Walked three blocks to catch a train for the Cubs. It was a little loud with sounds of the city being right off Michigan Ave.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 148Great location - rooms a little tired
Can't beat the location of the Omni - very helpful concierge as well. The rooms are pretty dark and the carpeting in hallways and rooms look worn. Also -the hotel charges $20 a night for a roll away bed which seems a little exploitive considering this is not an inexpensive hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 148location good, internet bad
I loved the location and staff, service and food, But u had to pay 9.99$ for internet service per day, and the service poor, and kept getting interrupted.
Hotel Response
We apologize for the lack of strength of your wireless signal. In the event that you experience this please call the front desk and they will do their best to accommodate a room change. Also we hope you will join our free Select Guest program that includes free wireless Internet and morning beverage service.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 148Our favorite Chicago hotel
The beds are so comfortable! I love the fact that there are 2 separate rooms. The only downside to this hotel are the insufficient number of elevators for a hotel of this size and the slow speed of the 2 working elevators.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 148Very nice hotel
I really enjoyed my stay at Omni Chicago. It was right in the heart of everything! The room was very nice. The bed was plush and comfortable. The bathroom was roomy and spa like. The service was great! The only down side, if anything, was that no refrigerator was in the room; so I couldn't keep my drinks cold. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely return.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 11 of 148Outstanding Hotel
Although the hotel itself is beautiful, the service was outstanding and made it a very pleasant stay. We had one issue with the hotel charging on a debit card, but it was resolved quickly - again, great service!! We look forward to staying at the hotel again in the future.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 148Rude Staff
While the location of the hotel is perfect, the staff would need training on how to treat guests. Apparently they have forgotten that they rely on guests and not the other way around.
Hotel Response
We are sorry that you were treated poorly during your stay by our staff. We hope that our high review score on Hotels.com will show that this is not a normal occurance. We hope you will consider staying with us again so we can show your the level of service we can provide.
