    The Omni is situated right off Michigan Ave. and is close to some great restaurants on Rush St. The hotel staff could not have been nicer. The only disappointment was that the room was right next to the ice machine and, therfore, was a bit noisy.

Location. The Omni Chicago Hotel is located adjacent to Michigan Avenue's Magnificent Mile in Chicago, Ill. This property stands one block from Rush Street shops and entertainment. American Girl Place and the John Hancock Center are positioned three blocks away.

Hotel Features. The Omni Chicago Hotel won recognition on the 2009 Condé Nast Gold List. The three-story lobby boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, antique furnishings and Art Deco chandeliers. The hotel's 676 Restaurant and Bar reveals Chicago's skyline through glass walls. The restaurant features an open-style kitchen that prepares American-style cuisine. Seasonal menus showcase organic produce. A total of 7,000 square feet of function space accommodates up to 200 people. Boarding passes may be printed at the 24-hour business center which offers print, fax and scan services. Recreational amenities include an indoor pool with a spa tub, and two rooftop sundecks with panoramic city views. A complimentary, 24-hour fitness center offers cardiovascular and weight-training equipment. Complimentary Get Fit Kit workout packages, complete with floor mats, elastic bands and two dumbbells for use in guestrooms, are available at the 24-hour front desk.

Guestrooms. The 25-story Omni Chicago Hotel offers 347 guestrooms with living areas separated from the bedrooms by French doors. Beds consist of pillowtop mattresses, 250-thread count sheets and duvet covers. Marble-clad bathrooms feature curved shower rods, rain showerheads, makeup mirrors, bathrobes and granite vanities. Bathrooms are stocked with Swiss Institute toiletries. Guestrooms include 37-inch, plasma-screen televisions. In-room safes are laptop compatible. The hotel offers American Girl Place packages that include miniature beds, Omni bathrobes and turndown services for dolls purchased at American Girl Place. All guestrooms are nonsmoking.
