Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 33Great location
Truely enjoyed my stay. Central location next to shops and short walk to beach. Nice lanai and view. Pool was inviting.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 33Excellent Value for Money
The hotel location is perfect. It is close to Waikiki Beach and is in the heart of Waikiki. Both daytime and nightime activities are closeby. It is also on the Pink Line trolley route which is free to hotel guests. The room was spacious the internet connection worked well. Great place to stay on Oahu !!!!!!!!!!!!

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 33Good deal and great location
Hotel itself is very nice and right in the middle of everything you want to do in Waikiki. The rooms are very basic, but clean and comfortable... besides who wants to be in their room in Hawaii anyway! Overall we were very happy with this hotel and would stay here again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 33Great Room for the Money
We were first given a room on the second floor next to the elevator but upon seeing my displeasure she called us and changed us to the seventh floor. We heard no noise from inside or outside our entire stay. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 33Excellent Choice
This hotel was in an excellent location. Centrally located to nearby points of interest and right across the street from the beach. The value of the hotel was a steal and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful and access to activity desks are right in the lobby. We enjoyed our stay here and the best thing about it is the location.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 33Great hotel for the money - Excellent Location
Our family really enjoyed our stay here. It is a very convienent location. I found the darker furniture and newly remodeled room to be really tasteful. I would definitely stay here again.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 33Nice room
Dont stay next to elevator, it sounds like thunder and the dining noise, it sounded like it was dining all night even in my dreams. Dead bug in our room, but that was the only one dead or alive, but it is a great hotel and we would staythere again, but chnage room location. First 2 nights were a laugh because the hotel alarm get going off, but we did go when Hurricane Felicia turned into a tropical storm, so at least we know the alarm works!

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 33Great hotel for the money - Excellent Location
We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The location is perfect-- Close to eateries, shopping, and the beach. The newly remodeled rooms are decorated with tasteful dark furniture. The only minor complaint I have would be the small pool, but not a major issue since we have the beach a few minutes away. I've read other reviews that others had issues with noise, but we didn't have this problem. Their daily parking is $18 and valet only. I would've prefer the convience of self parking. I would not hesitate to book here again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 33Everything was Great Except the Internet
Everything was Great except the wireless Internet. It worked in the lobby but not on the floors of the Hotel. If the smaller budget motels can have wireless internet throughout the whole property, you would think a nice hotel would be able to deliver the same service. The room and location was great. Would strongly recomend but beware of the ability to get on the internet.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 33Nice room
Room was next to the elevator, so we heard ding noise and what we thought was thunder was actually the elevator going up and down, other then that, it was a nice room and also there was a dead bug on our wall that looked like it been there awhile, but that was the only bug we saw. But it was a nice hotel!! I would not stay by the elevator again....

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 33Right in the middle of things.
The room was very comfortable, good bathroom, good tv, nice lanai. The housekeeper who cleaned my room was very sweet and accommodating. Great to have the little in-room frig so I could have my papaya in the morning with fresh brewed coffee on the lanai. The location was perfect for walking to either end of Waikiki, which I did every day.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 33Ohana Beachcomber
The only real complaint I have is that the elevator to the lobby is in the back, within smelling distance of the big stinky dumpsters. Reeeeally disgusting smelly dumpsters. Escalators are in front but we had a baby and wanted to push her in the stroller for check-in, walking around, ect. We paid for the cheapest room cause we were only staying one night but the room was real nice. I don't recommend it to people with strollers or wheelchairs but other than that it was nice. The restaurant was nice too, it looks like a cave inside. I ordered the shrimp and steak but it didn't have much seasoning to it. Maybe just order something else. Price discount during happy hour on some stuff, 3-6 I think.

The only thing is the elevators. Sometimes with key the elevator was mixed up and took you all over to floors before getting your room after using key again

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 33Great room for the price
We stayed at the Beachcomber for 2 nights prior to our cruise. It was very convenient to Waikiki Beach and everything we wanted to do prior to our cruise. We also tried out another hotels.com hotel after our cruise & preferred the Beachcomber. If we visit again, we will stay here. By the way, the cruise line wanted to charge double the price if we booked the same hotel through them.
