Oceanview Motel

it's alright..

rates aren't expensive, yet it's not the nicest of the nice. If your looking for a quick weekend vacation needing somewhere to sleep this works out. There's grills a pool a deck and its right on the beach. Wouldn't stay any longer then a weekend.

Lots of room for improvement

I wouldn't stay here again. They should be ashamed of what they charged me for the two nights we spent there. The room had this musty smell. It was damp and just had a dirty feeling about it. Very noisy neighbors partying until 6 in the morning both nights. Paper thin walls. We could hear everyone's conversations. Try to squeeze your car into a parking space there. I don't know how many dings are in both sides of my car mostly from parking in this hotel's parking lot. Nowhere else to park. I would not recommend this hotel to someone I like.

Not Bad for the price

Stayed there this weekend as a last minute option. The room though a little out dated served its purpose, had a little living room area with 2 couches and a table, and the bedroom was seperate. Not a 5 star hotel, but if going to the shore just looking for a place to stay this place is not all that bad.

For the price, good room

Right on the beach, perfect location. Pool and mini golf course very good. Bathroom needs some repair work. lighting can be better. Good for a last minute option.

Room was very aged and dirty!!!

One night stay at hotel was very disappointing. The room was outdated, dirty and overpriced. Location is good but I would recommend looking into other hotels in the area. There are many to choose from.

Not bad for the money

Close to the beach - not too far from the boardwalk & restaurants. Is an older hotel - don't expect first class.

Has seen better times.

This is a large hotel close to the beach and not too far from the Wildwood boardwalk. We selected this hotel because it had the only room available when we made last-minute plans to visit the shore. We only stayed one night. The hotel has a 60's retro look (original, I'm sure). The place was very run down. The room was damp and had the feel of a prison cell. Lights in the bedroom did not work. We booked the room expecting a run-down, damp hotel room and that's what we got. I would not recommend planning an extended vacation around this place. There must be nicer/cleaner places out there.

Expensive but the location is great

The atmosphere was very family friendly. A little clicky because a lot of people go there every year same week. Otherwise we met a few nice couples and went to dinner with one. Kids made friends for the week which is nice. I suppose the other hotels in the area are nicer but probably not as kid oriented. This hotel had activities for the kids which added to the family atmosphere. The only knock on this hotel is the rooms themselves. A little outdated but clean and comfortable. Of course we didn't spend much time in the rooms. Also, be sure to ask for a room with a view so you don't end up in the breezeway.

Not a bad choice

The hotel was okay. It was a little old but it had a small pool for toddlers and activities for the kids. It was right off the beach which was nice. It was a clean room - just a little dated as far as appliances. It was a little more than I would've spent but we booked it late.

Needs Improvement

This hotel gave you no privacy. My guests and I felt like we were being watched all the time.

Right on the Beach

The customer service was delightful and the room was pleasant it does have a dampy feeling to it but it must have to do with the beach. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Moldy

The hotel room had a damp odor and drab appearance. The elevator to our room was small and dirty. The key to the room did not work work well in the lock. When we opened the door, there was a damp, musty odor. The first room was dark and furniture had a shattered appearance. The bathroom porcelain was broken and had a general dirty atmosphere. The bedroom was also dark and cramped. It is a shame that the beautiful beaches of Wildwood, NH have such a terrible hotel.
