Oceanfront Inn

Great location - good price

We really liked this hotel - Great staff, very helpful & friendly. Only 2 small issues - elevators need maintenance and check out time is 11am but on our last day, front desk shut off our key cards at 10am and we had to twice get them to reactivate them to get back into our room.

Dirty Room, Great Location

This hotel is in a great location, right on the boardwalk/beach which is beautiful and near lots of restaurants and shopping. Only drawback was that our room was filthy. The bathroom was dirty and there were hairs everywhere.

Would recommend to anyone. Great location and beautiful view of the ocean. Room was clean and staff were nice.

Great room for the money!

This hotel was wonderful! The staff was superb! It is an older hotel and it looks dated but was extremely clean and well kept up. It is right on the ocean and every room has an ocean view with a balcony! There is a restaurant in the hotel but it was overpriced and not that good. The indoor pool was great! We were a little disappointed that there was no hot tub because it makes a small reference to one but it is actually just a section of the pool and it wasn't hot. I would definitely stay again with my kids but if it was just my husband and I we would probably find a more updated hotel but for what we paid, it was perfect for a week at the beach!

great room for the money

All the staff we encountered at the hotel were very friendly and courteous. The room was clean and just the right size for us (2 adults and 1 child). The lobby, hallways, elevators, and pool were clean. There wasn't a microwave in the hotel room which we knew before we stayed there so it wasn't a big deal but we may could have used it (for leftovers). Great beachfront location one block from the Neptune statue and right beside the new Hilton hotel. Overall we were very happy with the service.

Great experience. Right on the beach, nice room. Beds are a little hard, but typical of every hotel I stay in. Friendly staff.

wonderful hotel

stay here after another hotel could not accomodate our length of stay. Front desk staff needs a little help. not very friendly i thought as compared to the housekeeping staff. beautiful views of the ocean. great location. just be prepared if you are there on the weekend of an event it does get crowded and you are next to catch 31, a great bar.

Good value

In light of comments in other reviews about "noisy" plastic covers on the mattresses I had some concerns. No need. There were no such covers on our beds. The room represented excellent value for the money. The only negatives were that parking was not totally convenient in the garage across the street when the lot was full and that the entire premises, including the parking lot, not just the room, were non-smoking.

It was what we expected for the rate. And easy check in and out. Great location for our needs.

Great Location

The staff were helpful and we enjoyed the location. It is slightly north of the main activity on the strip, but close to 31st street stage. Just far enough away from the center of the strip to be very enjoyable. We would stay again even though the beds were a little hard. Good value for the money. Microwave would have been nice in the rooms, especially for a week stay and with children.
