Needs Improvement

Changed to 3 rooms did not like them were not clean boards in windows where glass should have been it was our fault was looking for cheaper rate. Did not stay the nite there.

Not a Good Experience

The hallway carpets squished with water, the room had a wet-carpet odor. It was like staying in a very-used gym locker room. I'll NEVER go back here again!

room not what expected

very noisy all night had to call front desk at 3 am to do something about the noise sounded like they were right in the room with us. several floors had strong strong smell of booze in halls.motels never are what the internet portrayed to be . they any show the nice fixed up areas pool and kiddy pool have not be cleaned in god knows when

Cheap for a reason

The hotel looked very nice. Once we pulled into the parking lot there were people hanging outside their rooms, bedroom doors open people smoking, one drunk guy even asked us to move our car because that was his "parking spot". We walked to the room, the carpets in the hallway were dirty and stained. The sliding glass door to our room did not lock, neither did the door to our room. My mother used the restroom and got locked in the restroom. The hotel room looked like it came out of a scary movie. We called the front desk and asked for another room. This room was a little better than the first one seeing that the doors locked, but it was still not to our satisfaction. It looked very old, and like no one had given it a thorough cleaning since it opened. It was very dirty. It sounded like the people in the room above us were bowling in their bedroom. We heard loud banging noises all night as well as the people next to us who stayed up and partied until 5:30 in the morning being as loud as they possibly could. It was a horrible experience, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Um NO!!!

Okay so we got there late and then it was in the ghetto of the beach. Parking lot was empty and when we got out of the car someone yelled "HEY You took my parking spot." Kind of scary for a mom and 2 teen girls. We check in and get to the room- the door doesn't even lock! So one of us goes and uses the bathroom and gets locked in there! We requested another room and they obliged which was a good thing. It was like a crackhouse and other things going down there. The pictures on the website make the hotel look like a 5 star and when we got there it was just horrible and run down. I definitely will not be staying there again. For those who do choose to stay there- make sure you always have someone with you when walking around.

Friendly and Polite but Shabby

The hotel was a bit out of the way for our purposes, but did have a great view and access to the beach. Also a view of the road for my husband during Bike Week! The bed was terrible! Maid service was close to non-existent. However, whenever we asked for anything, it was immediately supplied with courtesy and friendliness. I think that we could have gotten a better deal for our money--especially since this was an extremely poor Bike Week economically and weatherwise. However, we certainly had a good time!

Needs Improvement

The hotel was not very clean. The cable tv was very snowy and the email that I received said that the hotel would be oceanfront and they gave us an oceanview room even after I mentioned the email. The front desk people were not very friendly, but the maintenance man tried very hard to get the television to work.

Not too bad for the price and location...

I didn't go to this hotel with high expectations, considering all of the reviews I had read. But it actually wasn't to bad at all. We had requested a fridge, which they said would be in the room. But when we got there, we only had an empty cabinet with a big hole in the drywall where a fridge was suppose to be. Keep in mind that we only paid for oceanview, but right away the maintenance guy had to come install 2 new light bulbs, instructed us that the AC only worked on high, and finally brought us an old beat up fridge the next day (better than nothing!) We stayed 2 nights for Bike Week, so we really didn't hang out in the room much other than to sleep. This hotel is definitely great for that!

Need to be cleaned better

THE BATHROOM NEEDED TO BE CLEANED BETTE. OTHER HOTEL GUEST ITEMS WERE LEFT IN THE BATHROOM. SUCH AS: SPONGE AND SHAMPOO. REFRIGERATOR NEEDED TO BE PAINTED OR REPLACED. WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE BLOCKERS BETWEEN ROOMS WITH A BALCONY. OTHERWISE A VERY NICE ROOM

Bike Week 2009

I have to say this hotel was great perfect for Bike Week 1 mile from boardwalk just far enough away where you didnt get the full blast of sound from the bikes.. the only thing that sucked was the shower the water was like needles especially for the guys in our party... other than that the beds were great the room was clean the view was perfect so was our vacation!

Great Room for the Money

Staff was pleasant and helpful. We arrived 30 minutes early for check in and didn't have to wait. Hotel was an older hotel but the rooms were clean and it was convienent having a store in the hotel. Hotel is close to everything the location was great. We would stay there again. Access to the beach and the outdoor pool area was nice.

Poor Value / Rooms need work

High priced compared to the other hotels we saw on the same street with their prices listed on marque. Run down rooms. Would never stay here again. Breakfast consists of toast and coffee, juice, and cereal. but must get there before 9 am. They closed the door in my face before I could get so much as a cup of coffee at 9am. I would not recommend this hotel.
