Hotel Excellent....Room nasty!

When you drive into the hotel, you feel like you are pulling into paradise. It is very well maintained. When we open the door to the condo the condition of the condo was horrible. It was dirty and smelled. We actually took the bedspread from the bed to cover the couch before we would sit on it. We wouldn't put any food in the refridgerator because it was so disgusting. It looked and smelled like a hotel room that had just experienced spring break. Just gross, I will not stay at this hotel again unless they allow me to look at the room before I commit my vacation money to it.

Buggie

I didn't feel comfortable in the room. It felt like there were bug's on the sofa, chair and bed. I couldn't stay in the bed a get any sleep.

Nice small resort on the water

Nice resort hotel on the water. Registration staff was very nice and helpful. The room was spacious. It smelled a bit musty inside the room and the furniture was a bit dated.

Great value for the $

We were pleasently surprised with this condo. I was a little apprehensive about it since all the other hotel rooms were running $150 or more per night. We need 2 rooms. When this one was recommended at as lot less for a 2 bedroom condo, I was worried, but took a chance. It was great. Our only complaint was that they did not furnish dish soap or dishwasher detergent. But everything else was fine.

Great Hotel

The hotel was actually very very nice. It was like we had our own little condo on the island. My only issue was that the furniture had the look and feel of as if was in a Golden Girls episode but other than that, great hotel.

Outstanding Hotel

We were more than pleased to find our 2 bedroom accommodations very clean and well-maintained. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a large pool as well as a small beach area with a swimming lagoon. We weren't far from restaurants & diving centers and there was a park within a mile of the hotel. I highly recommend Ocean Pointe Suites!

Outstanding Property

Great location, property is beautiful and the staff is very good.

Not impressed

The rooms were dirty and the washer and dryer did not work. You cant use the beach. We left after our fist night and got our money back.

A Good Experience

If you are looking for a comfortable stay, I can highly recommend this place. These are Condos and I have to say that the staff was very good and friendly. The room was clean and has all the basics to make your stay comfortable. Includes silverware/dishes/cookware in the kitchen. For the price and compared to the other options on Key Largo, this was a great deal.

it's a good deal for the money

The condo we stayed in was very clean, although it could use some updating. The furniture was old and worn. Everything was very clean. The staff isn't particularly helpful. We waited over 30 minutes for our room because it took them that long to check and see if the room was ready. The pool is huge, but like most places in the Keys in the summer, it was like a hot tub, the water is so warm. The location is convenient, but you have to drive 3+ miles either way for food, watersports, etc. Didn't find out til we left that there was beach access.
