Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 79Work in Progress
The hotel is great because it's right on the beach and it isn't too pricy, but there are so many things we had to look out for,...for one on our first couple of days, we were adding 20% gratuity to our checks when they already had 17% gratuity added, and it wasn't until day three that the waiter(whom hadn't waited on us) told us that the gratuity was added, that was not cool, considering that the service provided wasn't even worth the 17%,... there were little signs on thing so we had to keep an eye out so we wouldn't get charged a rental fee for using the wrong type of chair at the pool,...but you couldn't bring you're own drinks to the beach or pool, because they want you to buy the drinks there,...but other than that the room itself was ok, I guess...

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 79Never Stay Here
This hotel was absolutely the worst and dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The hallways leading to the room we stayed in looked terrible, old and patched but not painted. Not too big of a deal but very rundown looking. Then we got to our room. 1. The door barely shut and locked. We wedged a suitcase in between the floor and the door so that the door couldn't be forced open. 2. The one and only smoke detector in the room was hanging out of the wall and had no batteries in it. 3. The mattresses on the beds were straight from a hospital sale - they were very uncomfortable and loud when you sat down on them, let alone tried to sleep. 4. There was a TON of mold growing on the ceiling above the shower. Over half of the ceiling was covered with this mold. Never, ever stay here.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 79Needs Improvement
This hotel is very run down and is in desperate need of remodeling. Our carpet in our room was all buckled and unattached by the walls. Paint was chipped and worn down, the bath tub was in need of being replaced. The blinds on the door were broken and from the 80's. It seems that absolutely no maintenance or upkeep has been done on the rooms. Customer service was good, the employees were friendly and helpful. The location is good as it is located right on the beach.

The hotel was very dirty. The air conditioner was very loud and prevented you from sleeping. Hotel is older and doors stick and have to be pulled shut. You can hear the noise of people walking in the hallways and closing doors all night. The beds had springs that you could hear whenever you layed on bed or moved around. Walls and doors were terribly dirty. Service at the desk was slow. The only nice thing was the pool and beach area.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 79Great Value!
My girlfriend and I had a great time at Ocean Manor on a small budget. They put us on the 10th floor with full kitchen, living room, and spacious bedroom with walk-in closet. The pool and beach access were awesome! The valet charge was an incredibly cheap one-time rate, and the valets were appreciative of tips, but were not pushy about it. I should say that this is not the most luxurious place, and we didn't have enough towels when we arrived - but we just went to the front desk and asked for more towels and they happily provided them. I was extremely satisfied and recommend Ocean Manor without reservation to anyone on a budget looking for a great time in a beautiful place.

Very elegant lobby, the room had a kitchen, older but clean & everything worked great. They have a fun tiki bar with great food & drinks & right on the beach.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 79Awesome Views! Awesome Tiki Bar!
The location is great, the rooms are updated, the woman at the front desk and coffee shop very nice, our server at the bar Chris best service I ever had. 1 problem 2 different rooms neither one had ac,we did not want to complain because we had such a great rate and they moved us from a parking view to an ocean view but it was extremely hot even sleeping with the door open, the technician came out twice and said he fixed it.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 79Great Location next to the beach
Overall the location of the hotel was great. The only thing that was disappointing is the hotel wanted to charge for everything even towels. Parking not so great. They have valet parking but of course there's a charge for that. The cost online for hotel room was great but they make up for it when you get there. Restaurant the waiters already receive a gratuity tip but it seems as thought that's not enough for them.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 79Will never stay there again.
First, the hotel is infested with roaches, I killed at lease three roaches each night. Room service nerver made my bed, I had to keep going to the front desk for a wash cloth's every day. There no restaurant on site as they claim, you had to eat out side at the tiki bar all the time. The main problem I had with them was they charge my credit card to pay for another guest room for over $1000.00 dollars and I had a hard time getting my money back.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 79You get what you pay for...
The hotel is ok. It's probably the cheapest on the block. It has a really cool patio bar and awesome view of the beach (it's on the beach). If your on a budget this place is a perfect fit. The hotel staff was friendly and the AC worked well in my room (something that always seems to be an issue with hotels).

This was the worst excuse for a hotel I have ever had the misfortune of enduring. These rooms (at least the ones I stayed in) are actually owned by adjacent condo owners, and the hotel does not control certain room features. For instance, we never had a phone because the "landlord" did not provide one. We had to change rooms three times, and should have changed hotels, but we were too exhausted to look around. The rooms were small, dirty, and in urgent need of several repairs. The only good thing about this "hotel" was the location.
