    Great and well kept hotel.Great food although could not experience the reservation required restaurants due to always booked. Small and crowded beach area.

    Just stayed at the occidental grand papagayo in March. The hotel definitely can use some updates such as weak water pressure for toilettes and showers. We had two rooms and my children's room had a broken handle for the toillete. The air conditioning in the gym was turned off most of the time and it was very hot in the afternoon. Otherwise the hotel was very pretty and the service was good. People were friendly. Overall it was great value for the money we spent.
