Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 32convenience is the key to this place
The room was bit run down and the bathroom was not too good, but that's ALL that was bad. Perfect location to Finway, Pru Centr, colleges, etc. Couldn't ask for a better staff for Boston. They even gave us a late checkout! Clean room, fine bed, and quaint sitting lobby. Parking would be a challenge, but I didn't bring my car anyway. I believe you'd park in a garage a block down the street. Good coffee and bagels. I really enjoyed just walking off the street and being in my room in less than a minuite.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 32convenient and casual
This is a great place for the casual traveler who does not want to spend a bajillion dollars (and who packs lightly- there are no elevators). I think it is closer to a hostel than a bed and breakfast, but it is clean and in a convenient location. I slept in the Adams guest house, and my room was close to the balcony, so it got a little noisy when people walked in and out of patio. The noise pretty much stopped by 11pm. Also, the room was a little drafty, and there was no thermostat to control the temperature. Otherwise, everything else was great. This B&B is at a convenient location with just a few minutes walk to the T, about 10 minutes walk to Fenway Park, and less than a mile to major hotels like Sheraton and Hilton if you are going for a convention or business meeting. The beds are comfortable and big (I had a double bed all to myself with my own private bathroom). If you are picky or slightly high-maintenance, you might want to choose another location.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 32Location, location, location!
As soon as I realized that the hotel was right off of Mass Ave, I knew I had picked a great location. For the zip code, this hotel had the cheapest room rate (AND included a free complimentary breakfast). The T subway stop was a block away, which great for our tired feet. The simple breakfast consisted of bagels, toast, spreads, orange juice and coffee. We hardly saw the other guests, which meant the hallways were quiet. The room and private bathroom we had was quite small, but for the minimal amount of time we spent in each, this was just fine. Overall, I was EXTREMELY pleased with the hotel (for the price) and would definitely go back!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 32Great Room for Money and Location
I went to Boston to see the Sox play. This hotel is much like a European pension. The room was clean and somewhat spartan. The staff was friendly and the neighborhood nice--brown stones all around. I just slept and had breakfast there--did not spend much down time in the hotel. Again, no frills and nothing fancy, but a good clean place to stay if you want to avoid the high dollar places.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 32Great Location!
This was a cute little European style hotel in an amazing location within walking distance from shopping, historical sites, and Fenway park. It wasn't overly fancy, but it was perfect for what we needed which was accessibility and price.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 32Loved the location
We stayed here as we were going to a game at Fenway. The location was perfect as we could walk there in about 10 mins. or less.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 32Very friendly service,
The hotel was clean and secure in a nice brownstone neighborhood within a nice walk to Fenway Park and lots of nice shopping, restaurants and a T subway stop. The staff was very helpful with directions to the hotel, to shops, restaurants and historical sites. The room was very comfortable and clean. A nice find and a definite return destination.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 32Cosy Bed and Breakfast
Though the staff was especially courteous, the real surprise and pleasure was the quality of the clientelle. With these tiny rooms so close together, it really matters that people are mindful of the privacy and sleep needs of others, and we were amazed that both elder guests and young students spoke in hushed tones in the hallways and were polite and cheerful at the breakfast spread. A lovely place to stay!
