Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 12Good Stay - Interesting Place
This hotel is a very interesting spot. Sitting out back is fantastic and right on the Thames, location is close to visiting Windsor Castle which I highly recommend. Staff were all nice and the food was good. Some areas have been updated and some are very dated. That actually provides some of the charm as each of the parlors, and sitting areas have unique character. An interesting tidbit is that the place was used to film some movies in the 70s. Yep, you can stay in Frank-n-furter's castle.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 12Couldn't ask for more
I stayed on business for 7 days/6 nights, but didn't expect anything like this. The hotel is situated right on the River Thames. There's benches down by the water which is a great setting for downing some of the local brews from the hotel bar. The grounds are huge with tennis courts and paths for walking. The restaurant had outside seating and if the weather cooperates is a great place to enjoy lunch/dinner. The entire hotel was a castle at one point I believe. It's 165 years old; how cool is that! The rooms were spacious and very clean. All of the staff was more than accommodating. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant was very well done. I have absolutely no bad comments to say about this hotel. I would definitely return here either business or pleasure.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 12Lovely Grounds. but didn't care for the extra guests in our room...
My fiance and I enjoyed the hotel grounds. Relaxing and tranquil. And it was a quick drive to the airport the next morning. Location to the Heathrow was the main reason we stayed here. We woke up late so we didn't get to enjoy breakfest however the drinks we had the night before were wonderful. My only complaint is that we killed 4 spiders in our room. Overall, considering the price it was well worth it.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 12Elegant Hotel
Oakley Court was a wonderful hotel. Clean rooms with all amenities (some required purchase such as wifi). Really enjoyed English breakfast. Would recommend for staying in Windsor though not within walking distance to Windsor Castle.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 12Quiet - Special arcitecture and grounds
Disapointed - only about the fact that they are away from other locations(needed taxi). Wanted to be able to rent bikes to go into town or see the country side. Possitive - The buildings and grounds are beautiful, the rental of a boat on the Thames is a must do (an hour was not enough time). Great breakfast buffet and helpful staff, being able to eat outside in gardens for lunch was quiet and peacful.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 12Perfect English Retreat
We had a stopover from our flights going back to the US and we decided to spend one night here and eat at the restaurant. everything was so nice that we didn't even want to go home. The room was spacious and staff was very friendly. The chef at the restaurant is amazingly creative and we enjoyed a drink in the library before dinner. It's a perfect little retreat, and since we live in a place with palm trees, it's the exact opposite and it's great.

The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We had a dental emergency on Christmas Eve and the front desk helped us find a dentist that took us in within 2 hours. Excellent gym facilities.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 12Fabulous Gothic Mansion
I used to live near Windsor and had been to the Oakley Court many times for afternoon tea, but had never stayed there. Knowing that the house and grounds were beautiful, but also knowing that Oakley Court does most of it's business as a small conference hotel, I was expecting the rooms to be small and adequate. We stayed in one of the rooms in the West Wing and was surprised that we had a huge room with a lovely view of the grounds and the river. We ate that night in the hotel restaurant, an AA 4 star, and were quite pleased with the service and the food. I wasn't too thrilled with my food, but I was suffering from a bit of a stomach upset from the jet lag, so I wouldn't read to much into that. My partner loved his meal and everyone around us seemed to be be having a lovely time. I thoroughly recommend the Oakley Court as an alternative to staying in Windsor Town Center its self. For us it worked out to be roughly half the price and gave us a memory that we won't soon forget!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 12Fantastic Service and Beautiful Hotel
The staff members of this hotel are most friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious and the grounds are gorgeous. This hotel exceeded our expectations in almost every way possible and we will certainly stay here again.
