Good Hotel for the price

Staff were friendly and courteous. Location is great - close to the French Quarter. Continental breakfast was decent. Room was small but clean. This certainly isn't a luxurious hotel but if you get a good price I would highly recommend it.

Great hotel for the money

The hotel went well above our expectations. You know the saying you get what you pay for? Well we were pleasantly surprised! In this day and age with the economy not doing so well, you made our stay affordable, comfortable and extremely enjoyable. Your staff was efficient but one staff member in particular did an exceptional job. Her name was Nivea. She was very helpful, very sweet and just all around very pleasant girl. This hotel is worth the money we paid and then some.

great for the money

i was very excited to see that the hotel standards for the amount paid per night were as high as mine. the only negative thing i can comment on is that when i walked onto the 6th floor where my room was located, it semlled a little old, but hey, what can u expect for a smoking floor. once in the room, i turned on the ac and the smell dissipated so i was very pleased about that. the room was a decent size with a queen bed, tv, and lots of outlets for electricity which is always a plus. and the location was awesome, especially for someone planning to spend most of his/her stay in the frech quarter!! another plus is the fact that parking was free, especially since parking in the city is usually $20 plus and a taxi cab ride anywhere u want to go is only a couple bucks!! overall, i would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for an economy stay!!

Hotel that does what it needs to do!

Pros: This is a good cheap hotel that does it what it needs to do is provide a place to sleep, rest and shower! if your looking for a five star hotel dont go looking here! Great location a few blocks from the superdome! Cant beat the price for a stay in new orleans plus it is also a couple of blocks from bourbon street! They also have their own parking lot which is a great because i didnt have to pay for parking and didnt have to worry about getting a parking ticket on the stree! Cons: Dirty carpet, semi hot showers!

Good for it's price

Standard double queen. Didn't have towels, but we checked in early. Not far from the Quarter, neighborhood was typical for a city. Parking was considered high for what was around. Not bad if you just need a place to crash after enjoying the night life.

Great Room for the Money

O'Keef Plaza Hotel was in a great location. Within walking distance to the French Quarter and Riverwalk. Parking was free. There is also free breakfast, but you have to get down early to have a good selection. The bed was the comfiest bed I have ever slept on in a cheap hotel. Overall, my stay was great, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling on a budget.

Good for the price and Location

Staff did very well, nice & accomodating. Could be cleaner and have some repairs done but for the price it turned out better then I expected.

"Great room for the money"

Everything was great at the hotel except for the parking. Almost $40 to park for the weekend. Another thing they ran out of towels, but overall it was a nice hotel..
