Hotel wonderful, location stank

The Novotel was a wonderful hotel--clean, neat, very helpful people, nice fixtures, etc. The location wasn't so great--the traffic was horrible and the roads were confusing and difficult to navigate. It took a considerable amount of time to reach anywhere we wanted to go in the city of Montreal. I would recommend this hotel if the person wanted to do things outside of the city center, but not if they primarily wanted to do things in downtown Montreal.

Outstanding Hotel

Modern, clean, "euro look", with flat screen TV's, mood lighting in rooms. Comfortable bedding. Exceptionally clean and bright. Only potential drawback is that it is near a business park a few miles off the main road so is not walking distance to anything. Its our favorite hotel in the Montreal aeroport area.

Great Room for the Money

This is a great hotel. Its totally renovated. Beds are so comfortable....the only downfall is that its a 20 mins drive from the montreal downtown...but overall nice hotel...

Great Value

Nice spacious room, clean, comfortable and up-to-date. Swimming pool and exercise room. I would stay there again.

Extremely satisfied

Hotel was one of the nicest my siblings and I have ever stayed in. Decor was pretty modern and clean. Room and bathroom was nearly spotless. Internet and parking was free, internet speed was good, plenty of parking. Great night view of the airport, room. Hotel staff was very friendly. The surrounding area was not very touristy, mostly corporations. Hotel is in St. Laurent (district of Montreal?), so we had a little bit of trouble mapping hotel on GPS. About 20 minutes drive (if no traffic) into downtown Montreal. Overall we were very satisfied with this hotel, and we would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Comfortable bed and pillows

Positives: Good location if you have a car. Great comfortable bed and pillows. Clean and tidy. Negatives: Decor rather spartan. Breakfast buffet needs more items and accomodate requests. Swimming pool small and has too much chlorine.

Hotel Chef is top notch best hotel food ever.

The pick up at airport and delivery was smooth and from that point on we went into relax mode. The morning breakfast was one of the best I had in the 30 days of travel just completed. The jacussi and pool helped us torelax after our long journey and the staff was more than helpfull in every way to accomodate us. I really liked the quality of the furnishings and linen and the quality of the staff.

Very Good Hotel

Room was very nice. Clean, comfortable and beautiful. The only one thing that I did not like was the location, you will need to drive to the subway (about 8 mins) or drive to the downtown area which I thought was a bit of a far drive (25mins).

Good Value for Money

We enjoyed our stay at the Novotel Montreal Airport. The room was large, well-maintained and clean with clutter-free European styling that was truly refreshing for someone who spends most work weeks in a typical American-style hotel room. Since this was a family trip we spent very little time in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us useful sight-seeing tips. Please note that the breakfast is NOT complimentary, however it is excellent value for money given Montreal prices. We had a car and it took less than 15 minutes to reach the "touristy" parts of Montreal so we really did not mind the fact that we were not staying down-town or in Old Montreal. If I were in Montreal again on business or pleasure, I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel. I did find it pricier than comparable accomodation in the US.
