    Hotel was in a great location one block off of the action. The hotel staff was very nice and very efficient. The bed was a little hard but otherwise a good place to stay in a great city!

    Our stay at the Nouvel Hotel in Barcelona was very enjoyable. First, the location is hard to beat. It's a very short walk from the Placa de Catalunya, so the Metro and the Airport bus are very convenient. It's also just off the Ramblas, so walking to any of the Barri Gotic or La Ribera attractions is a breeze. The Hotel has some old school charm and the English-speaking staff was really nice and always helpful. Our room was actually fairly large by Spanish standards but I noticed some much smaller rooms as the maids were cleaning so you might not be as lucky. I'd definitely stay there again.

The Hotel Nouvel in Barcelona, a restored late 19th century Modernista building, the hotel is situated right in the historic centre of the city, just 50 metres from the lively boulevard of Las Ramblas. This five storey hotel features 78 guestrooms, all of which have Art Nouveau-style decor with cool tiled floors and high ceilings.
