"Hotel needs Improvement"

Nasty hotel room. Yacky and not pleasant room accomodation. No complimentary coffee, shampoo and lotion. Housekeeping is not provided. The room smeels bad, stains on the carpets, bathroom not cleaned good ,lots of burn spots.

Needs a lot of work/cleaning

The hotel rooms were very large, but other than that...that's about all the hotel had going for it. Our room floors were obviously not cleaned for quite some time. There was cherios cereal on the floor and a lot of suspisus stains. The bathroom was barely big enough to shut the door while using the restroom. The shower head is placed far down on the shower so the water hit me below my sholders and I am only 5'5". We went down to the front desk because my pillow had obvious blood stains and the gentleman at the front desk was friendly but stated he hadn't worked there long and didn't know if they had extra pillows. They did however were able to finally get me a different pillow. We left for the day and came home to find that a "cleaning person" had come into the room, made the bed and moved all of our stuff around. I assumed since we were only there 2 nights there wouldn't be a cleaning staff sent up so I left some clothes and my bag on the bed. They moved all of our stuff to the floor (which was very dirty) and didn't even so much as empty the trash which still had garbage in it from the last guest. The location was good and not too far away from town however it is over the drawbridge so it can be a pain it you are in a hurry and waiting for a boat.

Just Awful

This place was a nightmare...It was awful and in just about every conceivable way, with perhaps none worse than the paper-thin walls that had the noise from the road and neighboring rooms keeping me up all hours...The entire place was also cheap, falling apart and reeked of cigarettes...I have absolutely NO idea how they command the prices they do; how the place was 90% full the night I stayed there; or how it had a hotels.com rating of 4 upon my booking, as this is without a doubt the worst place I have ever stayed. If it wasn't midnight and my being exhausted from a long day on the road, there is no way I would have stayed here, even if it meant paying for the night. I left felt I had bugs crawling on me...Probably did.

Great for the money

The hotel was quiet and the rooms are nice and spacious. Very neat set up, too. I was a little alarmed by the "no drugs, no racing in the parking lots," etc signs hanging up, but we had a nice experience for the one night we spent there. The air conditioning was very effective as well!

Worked for us

We needed an inexpensive place to stay during a baseball tournament. Nordic Inn was within 2 miles of the tournament and was really comfortable. The beds were good and the room was spacious. It was priced right and was exactly what we needed.

Great Rooom

Plenty of room in the Motel. Tastefully decorated and a very comfortable bed. Bathroom mirrow could be a little larger. Was a little musky smell from a previous leak in the bathroom ceiling and repair needed. Other than that we were quite satisfied with the rooom and location.
