Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 49Really Great!
This was a great location surrounded by upscale shops. We were only a couple blocks from a subway stop (Copley) and took a trolley tour that picked us up on the next street over. Our room had a giant flatscreen tv and dvd player, little frige, safe, etc. etc. Much nicer than I anticipated from the reviews. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. PS - Check out the Tapas restaurant, Tapeo, across the street. Pretty good.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 49Great Stay
We spent two days here and it was just perfect, the neighborhood, the staff and the extremely comfortable bed. Everyone was very helpful and we had a great stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 49Great room for the money
Service was very nice. Staff did their very best to make you feel welcome and help you with your concerns (directions, etc). Room was comfy and close to restaurants, shopping, & the "T". It even included a personal refrigerator. Complementary breakfast with bacon and eggs was included. Breakfast was identical daily. A little variety would have been nice.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 49Great Location
The hotel is in a great location, within a short walk to Fenway Park, Copley Square, close to the 'T' stations. Many great restaurants/pubs surrounding the hotel. Whether you are going to do the tourist thing, or just a weekend away, this is a great hotel. Rooms were much larger than expected, great value for the money. The only negative is that the beds could have been a bit more comfortable. But all in all I would definately recommend this place to anyone.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 49Convenient location, good value
Convenient location, close to the "T" which gets you just about anywhere you want to go. Newbury Street is energetic, however noise was not a problem. Great morning breakfast of both hot and cold foods. Staff were polite but not very engaging as i would expect for a guest house. We would stay again.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 49Modern, clean and nicely located
My wife and I spent 3 nights sight-seeing Boston. The Newbury Guest House was fantastic. The common area was comfortable with plenty of local magazines and papers. The free coffee and tea was always stocked and ready. Our room was very modern and clean. The street noise (Newbury is super popular, especially during college months) did not bother us because the walls were sturdy. The bed was comfortable and the shower stall worked fine. The free breakfast was always the same but the options were plentiful enough to always leave us with a full stomach. The staff was very helpful with directions and service requests. Checkout took 3 seconds thanks to Hotels.com. Highly recommended.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 49Needs improvement
The hotel charged us $100.00 charge for stain on floor that we did not do. I believe it must have been housekeeping. Housekeeping broke a very expensive bottel of perfume and there was no compinsation.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 49Great location, good value
Excellent location on Newbury Street, and the rates are reasonable for this area. The subway is a 5 minute walk away at Hynes Convention Center. If you are a light sleeper, request a room that doesn't face Newbury Street - it's noisy.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 49Great location. Parking is a problem
The hotel is in a great location but the parking is in the back in an alley and the cars are parked very close together and in tandem so you have to leave your key at the desk for others to move your car. It's not easy to move the car in that very tight space. For $20 a day, the parking is really not acceptable.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 49Great location and price
Small hotel with a friendly staff. Rooms and bath are small, but comfortable, Breakfast was the usual eggs and bacon, with little other choice for those who prefer something more healthful to start the day. Good, convenient, French Restaurant in basement.
