Trip Type: Romance Review 16 of 1004Great Hotel.... So-So Rooms
The hotel itself is fantastic... great location, restaurants, bars, clubs and casinos. The rooms were just okay. They have the kind of gross nylon bedspreads that don't ever get washed. The pillows are tucked inside these bedspreads. The beds were like sleeping on a slab of granite... just horrible. Checking in took FOREVER. They didn't have enough staff and they ask each person a million questions... do you want to upgrade, what is your e-mail address, do you want show tickets... etc etc. If you are looking for great fun and entertainment... perfect hotel. If you want to have great service or decent sleep... look elsewhere.

Trip Type: Romance Review 17 of 1004Great room for the money
I had a wonderful stay at New York New York Hotel & Casino. My room was in the parkview section, I did not have the best view but considering I hardly spent any time in my hotel room that was not a problem. The room was large and clean, housekeeping would stop by to tidy up my room everyday, although I did not need that, it was very nice. I plan on returning to New York New York on my next visit to Las Vegas. I could offer some advice, for all of Vegas beware of the buy 1 get one free offer. We stopped at Hot Tropic, in the Miracle Shopping area and we were shocked that 1 Margarita cost $12.00, the other was free~ yah right! I think that is a con, so when you have coupons shoved at you to come buy drinks be very aware and ask the price before you buy. The best happy hour that we ran across was at House of Blues, beers for $1.00, from 3-7 (double check that time) Also the food at Gonzalez/Gonzalez at New York New York was great!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 19 of 1004Farther down the strip
It was an okay hotel stay, but requested a king size bed in our room and were given two queens instead.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 23 of 1004Not bad for the price
Overall it's a alright place. You won't be diappointed given the price is very reasonable. However, if your not too tight on a budget I highly recommend spending that little extra on a nicer hotel that's better located on the strip. If your looking to be economic, this is the perfect place.

Trip Type: Business Review 24 of 1004Good room for the money but you have to pay for the extras
They charge $16 a day for wireless connection. That seems a little outdated to charge for an internet connection. They also have a $3 resort "phone" fee weather you use the phone or not. I would consider another hotel to see who doesn't charge these charges.

Trip Type: Family Review 25 of 1004Nice but.
Our hotel was all we expected except for the thin ness of the walls, we could hear the comings and goings of the other guest and one morning an inconsiderate guest left their alarm on which woke us up while it rang for over an hour.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 27 of 1004Good Value for the Money
New York New York is located in close proximity to all the action. The overall ambiance was just as one would expect: bustling; energized; exotic. I would definitely recommend paying a little extra for a room with a view of the strip. As far as housekeeping goes, the staff wasn't exceptional at anticipating needs but the room was acceptably clean. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel without pause.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 28 of 1004Great Hotel
Our room was on the 16th floor facing the strip. The room, service and view was top notch. The only problem was the tower we were in was the roller coaster. You cold hear the rumble of the coaster and the screams as it went through the loops.

Trip Type: Family Review 29 of 1004Not worth!!
First of all, I reserve non-smoking with full payment online, yet only smoking available unless add extra charge to other room type. Then with the discount rate I got, eventually is a room without window!!! My wife and I are so unsatisfy. Lastly, the bath tub was stuck.. lousy. I can easily find other hotel along the strip with this rate.
