    This city is pretty dirty, so I wouldn't expect the world from this hotel. But overall it was ok, nothing terrible. There are no extras at this hotel. The service is fine but they aren't going out of their way. It is close to the marina area, but not the beaches. We walked with our baggage from the train station so it wasn't too far away from the train.

The New Hotel Vieux-Port is a first-class hotel located in Marseille opposite the Old Port (Vieux-Port), 20 kilometers from Marseille Marignane Airport. This hotel is the perfect choice for a stay in Marseille, whether on business or pleasure. The hotel should be convenient for those boarding the ferries to Iles du Frioul and the Chateau d'If - or those just strolling the fish market and shopping in the nearby pedestrian streets. The New Hotel Vieux-Port is close to many Marseille attractions, including the Canebiere, La Major Cathedral. The hotel was completely renovated in recent years.
