Not a Good Hotel

The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from a major train station. The lobby of the hotel was in good condition. The lift was small, and old. The hallways were about 1 person wide. This hotel is a glorified motel in retrospect. The room we had was on an outside balcony, and the inside of our room was visable to all passer-by's. When we entered the room it was very small. The bathroom was hideous. An extra small bath tub, mold around the shower. The wall and ceiling in the shower had a huge gap in it. The free breakfast was not terrible. Your basic bread and juice. They charged for internet and bottled water. They advertised newly remodled rooms, if so, we did not receive one. The hotel is far from any sites and there were no markets or laundrymats. Overall this hotel was overpriced and inconvenient. 2 stars.

Great for the Price

I recently stayed at the hotel for three nights. Of course the room and elevator was a bit small, but the place was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful (but we didn't ask for much advice). The neighborhood was great with good choices available for dining, drinks, bottle shops & convenience. Only dislikes were that it is on a noisy street (which closing the window solved) and wireless access was expensive (there is a computer in the lobby though). Would recommend if you are traveling on a budget.

hot and loud

The hotel is hot and very small some of the people working the front desk are rude. The only reason I would recommend the hotel is because the location is great three different metro stations with in a three min walk.

Good Budget Paris Pick

This fairly low-cost hotel was small, but clean, and had everything we needed. When I did comparison shopping, I found just what I wanted in this hotel. The location wasn't bad either, considerng the price. If you are a single person or a young couple on a budget, this is a good pick. Don't expect a lot of extra room. (If you shop around, you'll probably find other small rooms, too that will be lacking in other areas.) We would definitely book here again.

Tiny but fine

close to the metro, was undergoing renovations but generally clean. as far as size, the room is adequate if you're just using it to sleep but TINY if you're using it for anything else. generally satisfied.

exagerated marketing hype

Run-down neighborhood but close to Metro stop. Lobby in remodel/construction phase. Room very, small with shoddy carpeting, awful pillows (bring your own since they don't have any extras) and wake-up call never came. Front desk (such as it is)& management seem to be in over their heads. Would consider this more of a one star hotel. Keep in mind Paris is very, very expensive and that all things are relative.
