Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 4Hotel Bompard
Overall very nice hotel in its own little garden oasis, a nice respite from the gritty mayhem of the port area in Marseilles. Small tip: if you have your own car, don't make the mistake I made...when I arrived at the smallish hotel parking lot it was totally full and I tried unsuccessfully to squeeze into a small spot. But the nice hotel attendant saw my struggle and told me to just park anywhere, even if I was blocking a car, and to give him my car keys so he'd move my car whenever someone had to get out of their space.

The shower faucet was broken, the air conditioner did not work, and the telephone was unreliable. They started construction in an adjacent room very early each morning and it was terribly noisy. However, the staff was helpful and friendly.
