Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 14Back to the 60's
Old style, but somewhat updated, motel. The staff was very friendly. The morning breakfast was in a crowded room, which obviously was a converted room for which the original purpose was I do not know. The available food items were the same as at other motels or hotels. The room was clean, but small. Two large people or a family with children would not be very comfortable. There is a shopping center across the street from the motel, with a market similar to Whole Foods, a pizza parlor, a hamburger shop and miscellaneous shops. We spent four nights and were not entirely dissatisfied.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 14affordable for area
If you can afford the extra money to actually stay in napa vs a neighboring town then this is the way to go for budget consumers. The hotel clerk was very nice and gave us maps and guides on where to eat. Internet was really easy just plug into a wall at your room and put in this code the clerk gives to you. I don't think there was any way to control the air conditioning in the room; it was always a touch cold. Highly recommend going to V. Sattui winery if you're out in the napa area. They have a big BBQ thing there with wine tasting 5 dollars for 5 wines 10 dollars for 5 premium wines if memory serves me. A crap load of cheeses and creams it was delish.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 14Great room for the money
I was very satisfied with the Hotel. The woman at the front desk was very fiendly and accomodating. The breakfast was nice and I really like that they provide trays with cup holders so that you can take your breakfast to your room and not spill your coffee. I also like the fact that they are a doggie friendly hotel. Hotel was clean and in a great location. Will defenietly stay there again.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 14Great room for the money!
I was looking for a hotel for the night that was inexpensive and close to my work. Didn't have to be fancy, just clean, comfortable, safe and handy. Napa Valley Redwood Inn was all of that. Again, not fancy, but for the price an excellent choice. I will stay there again should the need arise. Staff was great!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 14Good Value - if you need low cost
Room was clean, management very kind. Older hotel redone. But very good price compared to others in the area. Not a room that I would bring wedding guesats to, but a perfect room for budget travel.

Considering what other hotels in the area go for, this place is a steal. Very basic rooms, but clean.

Redwood Inn offered wireless internet, nice pool, close to the Silverado Trail and a multitude of wineries. Just don't leave your clothes on the floor; the shower leaks!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 14Needs Improvement
They advertised high speed internet. Yeah, if you want to stand in the main office to do all your work with people looking over your shoulder at what your are doing. We couldn't get a signal in our room for the high speed wireless internet. There were no additional power outlets for my laptop. We had to unplug one of the room lights.
