Great Place

The hotel is older, but nice for the price. they didn't try to push off any resort, timeshareing on us and that was nice. Everyone was nice except the parking lot attendant. We tipped him on our last day and he looked disappointed! I almost snatched my money back. I didnt have to give him anythig, I was being nice. Other than that everything was great.

"Great hotel for the Price"

My family had a nice time. The beach access was wonderful. The only concern I had was they were renovating the hotel and two of the restraurants were not open. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our bartendar gave us great ideas on seafood restraurants!!!

GREAT room for the money.

Less than 70 dollars for a clean, well located,beach front room with a semi-private balcony, mini-fridge, room safe three pools, poolside bar, a nice stretch of beach and great service is a bargain in my book. Very friendly staff, great location. Parking is across the street but, who cares?

could have been better

the lobby was nice but after that it slowly went down hill. i thought the rooms should be nicer. they wasnt as nice as the lobby.. i had to wear socks because the carpet felt nasty. the elevator was slow and u had to push up to go down. so for the price we wasnt happy, thought it was going to be nicer.

needs improvement

The staff was really great. I want too thank Sarah and Jackie at the front desk. They were very professional and courteous. The room had a great view of the ocean, however if you wanted that extra sleep in the morning the curtains do not close to keep the room dark. The bathroom needs an upgrade in the shower. Bed was comfortable

Westgate Myrtle Beach

I was not impressed with this hotel. Housekeeping didn't come two days out of the week we stayed and we had to call and request towels. The room was very small and did not have any storage space. The name of the hotel had Resort in it so I thought the place would be alot nicer than it was. It turns out our room was in the old part of the hotel and is scheduled to be torn down by 2013. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

WOW!!!!

I booked this room with my girlfriend for a getaway with another couple. Extemely worth it hotel personnel was friendly although the maid service was a little slow but we had a washer and dryer so we didn't mind. beautiful view and George Jones came in to the hotel the day we left if that tells you anything. Good A/C and could use a few more beach accesses but all in all a great hotel and yes we will be going back

Could be better

The hotel needed a bit of TLC. The room was clean and had a great view. The hotel was on the beach and was directly across the street from Family Kingdom, which was great for traveling with children. They offered activities for the children at the hotel as well. While we were there, a pipe broke and water leaked all over the hallway. They left the hole in the wall for three days with towels soaking up the water. It was fixed finally on Saturday. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Great stay

The view was outstanding! The staff was most excellent as each tried to assist me in finding the food I wanted. If this room had a microwave, it would have been excellent. There were not enough electrical outlets, but we made out.

Out dated Hotel, dirty rooms, smelly but great location

This is the dilemma: Hotel is on the beach! Great location but not very well maintained, the rooms smell, they are dirty, carpet sticky due to humidity. Staff is OK but the hotel is outdated, noisy hallways, old building this is not well kept. They are expanding next door and they plan to remodel this side of the hotel but I recommend shopping around. We did not like this hotel at all, shop around and use well known brands. We had an issue with the Voice message light blinking since we got to the room, we called about it twice and mentioned it to staff but nothing got done. Light on telephone keeps blinking which can be annoying!

Great room for the money

Hallsways a bit wore but Room was Great
