great hotel, terrible restaurant

The restaurant was terrible. The prices were outrageous, the food was adaquate, and we were charged $5 for a bottle of water we never ordered.

Great Hotel dont bother with the restaraunt.

Beautiful Hotel with great views of the volcano. (No lava flows on this side but still good) The room was huge with a waterfall shower. There was a private jacuzzi on the patio, never used it but a nice touch. Beautiful pool with a swim up bar. If you are going to eat at the hotel eat there as the restaurant is over priced and the service is terrible. Paid $70 for two pieces of cold lasagna and the waiter seamed pissed off that we were even there. Ended up walking over to the bar to pay the bill and leaving. Overall a great hotel just avoid the restaurant.
