Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 70Sweet Deal!
We paid a little extra for a Jr. Suite and loved it. Balcony, jetted tub, kitchen, views. Very nice for the money. Would recommend! Quiet, good bar, nice amenities, even came with a humidifier! Make sure you get what you need before 9:00, because there is no convenience store open for things such as aspirin. Front desk was gracious enough to have one for me. Great service with a smile.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 70Needs better lighting.
Overall we were pleased with our stay at Mountain Lodge at Telluride. We found its location next to the gondola and store very convenient. We did not like the lighting in the room. Very dim. It was very difficult to see to do anything. There was also a couple of dirty glasses in the sink. Unlike previous reviews we found the staff friendly and helpful.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 70Great value room
We stayed at the end of summer transition into the off-season, so things appeared to be in a state of mild confusion. The restaurant/bar waitstaff were very helpful, but were misinformed about the dinner menu which resulted in a comedy of errors. Your location is a two minute walk on a paved trail to the gondola station and grocery store. The gondola is free and takes you down into the retail district of Mountain Village where you can hop onto another free Gondola into Telluride. It was great not having to drive anywhere! We stayed in a lodge room which was well-appointed but a bit cramped. It was difficult for two guests to stow their clothing/luggage. It was a great price for the location, however, and overall, we were pleased with our stay. We would stay here again, but perhaps in a larger room next time!

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 70for teluride prices it was great
nice place, didnt know vallet parking was mandatory, cost an extra 20 per night, but it was ok they were great to get the car when we needed it. the room was very small, just us and the bed, no place to sit, but i guess you get what you pay for in just the queen room, would like to go back durring ski season. heater took a while to warm up, strange design but ok... the elevator didnt work the day we got there so we hulled our stuff up 2 sets of stares . but id go back, we got in on off season deals so it was great and close to the free gondola,

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 70No my idea of 4 star
The room was small and really only fit for 1 person. The front desk staff were hit or miss, sometimes just plain snobby. The 20$/day parking should really just be added to the price because it is not an option. Not really a "deal".

If you get the one bedroom, you will be paying big money for the smallest room to mankind. Other than that, guest services are very friendly and all the other amenities were wonderful.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 70rude and condescending front desk staff
The hotel is in a great location with a great restaurant in house and beautiful views. The front house staff needed to be much more welcoming to paying guests. I think that the Hotel should build the parking fee into the room price, so your staff, like Nick and Debbie won't have to have such a power trip and horrible attitude about the additional $20 parking fee. The hotel is the best value in Telluride but sometimes you are only as good as your staff.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 70Great room' good location
very nice suite with full kitchen great view, enjoyed pool while watching gondola go by and mt. views. Only problem we had was made reservations for 3 adults, when time to go to bed and all unpacked found out sofa was not a sleeper and daughter had to sleep on the floor, asked for refund of extra person fee and was told by front desk they couldn't do anything about it and I would have to take it up with Hotels.com

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 70Nice but....
The desk staff is anything but helpful. The only person working the desk that was willing to go the extra mile was Victor. The room was a 1 bedroom junior. Plenty of room. The furniture was a bit worn. The bed was way too soft. Had to take off the matress pad. The bathroom is in two parts. The bathing area is small. Kind of hard to get undressed. No air conditioner, but you did not need it after dark. Nice view of the mountains. I can't see paying anymore than we did for our room. And we were off season. If you are a nextel customer, forget the phone. NO SERVICE. and calls from the hotel are $14.00. Plus what ever the phone company is going to charge me. Parking at the free lot. Good luck finding it. It is a long ways away. And the directions they give you are wrong.
