Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 14"Worst stay ever"
First of all at the arrival, it said parking on site and that was false information. The parking was a block and half before the hotel. not a good neighborhood to walk at night that far from parking garage. Second of all the rooms are supper small not much room to walk around. Not much to choose for breakfast, by the time we left at 9am everything was gone so that was not good. The other thing is that I found some red small looking mites on the bed it was so gross especially knowing that I had a child sleeping in that bed. and waking up with some red med spots on my arms which i'm sure it was from that. The whole hotel is very small and uncomftable to go up stairs to the rooms even the reception desk. What I payd for a one night stay was wayy to much for this 1 star hotel. A 5 stay hotel was alot cheeper than this one only that I really didn't know my way around there to choose a better hotel.

For the price, location and plans we had in the City, this hotel was just right for a one or two night stay.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 14Needs improvement
I will never stay at this hotel again for the following reasons: 1. mildrew on shower curtain and around bathtub. 2. pillows had no firmness. 3. ants 4. bathroom door knob falling off 5. no screens on the windows 6. TV remote did not work 7. Door to room my husband had to tighten the screws on the hinges in order for it to open properly. The rate I paid does not go with the hotel. Motel 8 would have been a better stay.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 14Budget Hotel
This hotel was further away from the cable car line than we thought. It was a little further into the "unacceptable" area of town then we would have liked. The room was a very small bedroom with two beds in it. Barely room to walk. However, if you are on a tight budget it would be fine. There is nothing fancy about it. Just the basics. And the towels in the bathroom are like sandpaper and very threadbare.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 14Not the room I got
I was told it would be a quaint experience, but what I got was a hot (no AC on a 72 degree day), small room on the 4th floor with a fuzzy TV and the closest toilet and shower on the 3rd floor. While the stay has made for an entertaining story for friends and family, it would not stay at the Mithila again. The neighborhood was great and I would recommend Ace's bar, but not the hotel.
