Amazing room for the Money

Great place. I would have paid more had I known what I was getting. Way exceded my expectations.

Very Good "3-Star" Hotel

Not a luxury hotel, but very comfortable for the money. Location is a 30 minute walk on nice sidewalks to the city center. There is also a complimentary shuttle that runs on even hours. Free WIFI in lobby. Breakfast not included, but reasonable off the menu. Cab is 35 pesos from Centro to hotel. Above average 3-star Mexican hotel.

Needs some improvement

Good courteous service in the bar and restaurant and at the front desk. The mattresses were on the uncomfortable side of firm and it was impossible to get more than one room key. But the biggest problem for us was that no Internet connection (either wireless or at the hotel's computer room) was available for the 72 hours we were there (12-25-07 through 12-29-07). In addition, the taxi driver from the Leon Airport (BJX) was not familiar with the layout of this hillside hotel and left us with our luggage to negotiate the three exterior sets of stairs to the reception entrance in the dark. Perhaps better signage directing taxis (or others not familiar with the hotel layout) to the reception drop off area would help.

Needs Improvement

Okay if you don't mind waiting at the counter while they figure out problems. Needs better management at the front desk for prompt processing. Also, the rooms are very dark and need better lighting for reading maps, etc.
