Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 10Great room for the money
The service was great and you can bring your English you a lot of the service personnel speak spanish and english. Food was very good and priced right. 35 to 40 pesos for breakfast, 40 to 60 pesos lunch and 120 to 140 pesos for dinner. Lots to do and see there. Walmart is across the street and a small am/pm market around the corner. We had a wonderful time. I shall be back!

The hotel is perfectly located nearthe downtown area with easy access to transportation. The Mission Carlton is a beutiful high rise that allows you to have a good view of the City of Guadalajara. The employees were very polite and welling to help at any time. My wife and I are very satisfied with the service they provided, and i would defintively recomend it to anyone going to Guadalajara.

It was a nice hotel for the price you pay. Guests should be careful when it comes to unexplainable charges to the room. I was charged for an item in the mini-bar that i had not taken. Be careful with the Taxi cabs outside hotel, they tend to overcharge as well.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 10High End 70s Hotel a little worse for wear!
The service was great, the beds were comfortable, but everything else could use a facelift. Things were clean. This is a fine hotel before leaving for the airport, but don't plan to spend any longer sojourn there.

Be sure and specify a room overlooking the courtyard away from the street or bring ear plugs. The hotel is located at a major intersection and our outside room over looked that and it was noisy! The food is very good, be sure and request a non-smoking table. The bar is "strange", all tables looking at a muted 52" screen, but quiet and the drinks are good, but expensive (non-national brands). Be sure and carry your own wash cloth or bath sponge! A Walmart is just across the street. You are a 3 to 4 dollar (USD) from the Central Plaza and a 1/2 block from Teatro Diana and close to the bus station. A "straight shot" from the airport, don't turn off, you'll see it on the right.
