Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 12Pool closed early
The hotel was nice and the location was good but the pool closed at 7:30pm. Not likely that most people are back in the hotel until at least late evening or night with all the surrounding opportunities. With two children, this was a big disappointment.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 12Food service needs improvement
The deluxe breakfast that was included with our room rate provided a wide variety of food, but it was not kept as hot as it should have been.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 12A good dead
Even though it is an older hotel, I thought it was a great location and a very nice room for the money paid. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 12GREAT ROOM FOR THE MONEY
THE STAFF AT THE MIRAMAR WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND ACCOMADATING. OUR ROOM WAS CLEANED AND REFRESHED DAILY. FOR THE PRICE WE PAID THE VIEW WAS OUTSTANDING.WE WOULD RECOMMEND THE MIRAMAR WIKIKI WITH A 4PLUS RATING. VERY SATISFIED.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 12It's OK.
This hotel could use some updating. Old wallpaper, furniture, and fridge. Rusty fixtures in the bathroom and tons of caulk messily applied everywhere in an effort to patch things up. Very little hot water after 7 a.m., the TV stopped working three times during our stay, and the AC ran constantly unless we turned it completely off (brr - but that's better than being hot!). Parking was relatively inexpensive (though crowded and tricky) at $10/night, and we always found a spot. However, the bed was VERY comfy and the room was quite clean, as were the linens. Fridge was handy. Lanai was large enough to relax on. We could hear quite a bit of noise on the 8th floor, but we slept great; lighter sleepers may be disturbed. We enjoyed the pool area. The location was FANTASTIC (other than the prostitutes who propositioned hubby each morning as he ran across the street to pick up breakfast). I had no concept of how close and convenient everything is to the hotel. Beach, shopping, and many dining and entertainment options are practically right downstairs. Overall, this was an OK stay for the rate.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 12Good room for the money
It was a good, clean hotel for price, close to the beach and they had on site parking though that was extra.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 12Don't bother
This was the type of hotel where you want to leave your shoes on because you're afraid of touching the floor. The showers were disguisting as were the rest of the bathroom. the room was just gross, no parking anywhere near the hotel, its in a bad part of Waikiki. I know we got a good deal for our business trip but we will never go cheap again. This should not even be a one star hotel.
