Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 703Great Experience
The Biltmore is a masterpiece. A classic hotel that has a story to tell on the history of LA.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 703Great room at a great price
Great hotel overall. The only problem with this hotel is the parking. They either charge you $40 to park your car overnight per day, or you can park accross the street for $15.40 a day. I opted to park accross the street, I am trying ot save money by using hotels.com, so I carried mine and my girlfriends bags from an underground parking area way accross the street all the way up to our room. other than her not tipping me for my service, great hotel, very historic beautiful hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 703very disappointed
4 times our key did not work right after they gave us. At least 6 rooms setting are different. If yo u do not like your room lay out please change it. Some are much better than others. Some have LCD TV and some don't. If they tell you all the rooms are the same or there is no more room left, they lie. They did that do me.

The hotel was beautiful and historic. Service and food selections were top notch. However, the television in the room was old, small, and had a poor picture. Also the parking was $40 a night which significantly added to the total cost of the hotel stay. I think that might just be typical for LA though. It was overall a great stay and I recommend it.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 703Spiffed Up Old Downtown Grand Dame
This beautiful downtown hotel has benn nicely kept up and remains luxurious. Sure the rooms are a little old, but they're nicely re-done and very comfortable. Good internet connection, nice lobby bar. Best attraction is neighborhood -- across from Pershing Square (Metro) 2-3 blocks from Jewelry District, Fashion District and Grand Market. Little Tokoyo is close by and the 101 Freeway is right there. Third time I've stayed at this hotel

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 703Treasure
This hotel is a historic treasure not only for the events and history that ha taken place here, but also the beauty. I enjoyed walking around and seeing all of the themes in various rooms throughout the hotel. The service was impecable, no sooner did I request something was it to my room. Courteous, polite, the customer is #1.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 703Great except for A/C system
My wife was really taken by the restored beauty of this hotel. Its Oscar history makes it a great place to explore. The staff is very helpful and knowlegeable. The public areas are spectacular in design and restoration, especially the ceilings. We loved walking around the interior. Location is fine and valet parking, although pricy at $40, was very convenient in the heart of China Town. The only real complaint we had was the ventilation system. As it was a 90 plus day in LA we set the thermostat to "cool" when we went to sleep at night, or shall I say tried to sleep at night. The system alternatly blew hot air then cold air. It was impossible to sleep until I discovered that the window opened. We shut the A/C off and enjoyed the outside air (if that's possible in LA). Not sure we would stay again. Disapointed.

Excellent stay at the Biltmore. I went with friends for the Halloween night, and this hotel ended up being fantastic! I love it! The Staff and Concierge is SO helpful!

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 703Very nice
It was great, but the parking fee was kind of crazy (very expensive). It was very beautiful and clean. They upgraded our room due to over booking. It was very nice.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 703Wonderful Hotel with Great Character!
Outstanding downtown location hotel with great character. Hotel is definitely not modern which is what I loved about the place. The property and rooms have a lot of charm and are very comfortable. Customer service has been great as well. Have stayed here several times since and will keep going back.

Very nice hotel but the parking was expensive in that area.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 703Most expensive valet parking ever!
The Millennium Biltmore Hotel provided an average experience for the price. Though I must admit, the cost of valet $40.00 for a night is completley unreasonable. Furthermore, its not posed anywhere when you valet your car and check into the hotel. Seems a bit shady to me.
