Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 695Great except for A/C system
My wife was really taken by the restored beauty of this hotel. Its Oscar history makes it a great place to explore. The staff is very helpful and knowlegeable. The public areas are spectacular in design and restoration, especially the ceilings. We loved walking around the interior. Location is fine and valet parking, although pricy at $40, was very convenient in the heart of China Town. The only real complaint we had was the ventilation system. As it was a 90 plus day in LA we set the thermostat to "cool" when we went to sleep at night, or shall I say tried to sleep at night. The system alternatly blew hot air then cold air. It was impossible to sleep until I discovered that the window opened. We shut the A/C off and enjoyed the outside air (if that's possible in LA). Not sure we would stay again. Disapointed.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 695Great room and service for the price!
Excellent stay at the Biltmore. I went with friends for the Halloween night, and this hotel ended up being fantastic! I love it! The Staff and Concierge is SO helpful!

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 695Very nice
It was great, but the parking fee was kind of crazy (very expensive). It was very beautiful and clean. They upgraded our room due to over booking. It was very nice.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 695Wonderful Hotel with Great Character!
Outstanding downtown location hotel with great character. Hotel is definitely not modern which is what I loved about the place. The property and rooms have a lot of charm and are very comfortable. Customer service has been great as well. Have stayed here several times since and will keep going back.

Very nice hotel but the parking was expensive in that area.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 695Most expensive valet parking ever!
The Millennium Biltmore Hotel provided an average experience for the price. Though I must admit, the cost of valet $40.00 for a night is completley unreasonable. Furthermore, its not posed anywhere when you valet your car and check into the hotel. Seems a bit shady to me.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 695Beautiful old Hollywood hotel
Great location. Hotel has a wonderful old Hollywood feel. Service was great. The room was large, very comfortable. The only improvement would be the bathroom, very small, very old, but charming in a way.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 695Great value, lots of character
Historic old hotel in great location. Big savings over others I considered for my 4 night convention stay. Read mixed reviews prior to arrival, but was pleasantly surprised. My overall experience was great. Friendly staff, no lines to check in or out. A/C, plumbing, cleanliness, noise, linens, etc were all top rate, even the room service pizza was delicious. Close to convention center, and there were always cabs available. Only negative was that I was a long distance from the elevator in this large property since I requested a view. My corner room was nice, but it was down several corridors from the elevator.

There only a few days, but the hotel is lovely.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 695Comfortable bed
other than the comfortable bed this hotel is not worth the low price paid; parking fees were nearly a third of total expended here. The sushi bar had amazing nigiri and was the highlight of the stay.
