Convenient and great value

We recently stayed at this hotel to catch an early morning flight at the airport. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was high quality. Our room was clean, staff was friendly and the shuttle to the airport was on time. We used their park and fly program and our car was waiting for us upon arrival. I think this hotel is a great value and would surely stay there again.

Great if you in need of a night before or after you fly

I was on a my second trip to Florida. The first time I used a different hotel and was sorely dissatified. This time my choice was Microtel and it was great. The rooms are a bit small but if all you need is a nice nights stay before your flight or after this is a great hotel. There isn't a pool and the breakfast was your standard bagels and pastries but it was good enough for my buck!!

Felt Cheap

I do not want to sound negative because the hotel was okay but the hotel just felt cheap. There was no shampoo, hand lotion, bath items in the room. I felt like the owner was just trying to save a dollar instead of providing a service. The room seemed outdated. Now it was clean and when I had a problem in my room it was fixed immediately.

Great service and location

Stayed three nights. Very convenient location, very near the airport. Maid service was above and beyond. Lots of shopping and dining within 10 minutes or so. The hotel across the street has a restaurant with take out. A very pleasant stay, will be back again.

For a 2-Star rated place, it's a GREAT price!

They didn't get a 'perfect' score from me for 2 simple reasons: 1. I got a smoking room and there were no ash trays. Had to use a cup with water. 2. There was a small (what looked like) blood stain on the sheet. The new flat screen LCD TV on the wall was a nice change from the blurry old TV you usually see in hotels.

Exactly what you would expect

This hotel is exactly what you would expect from a Microtel, it is a tiny economy room with very few aminities. The biggest complaint I have is the front desk staff. They were rude and not helpful in any way whatsoever. It's comparable to driving a Geo Metro, it's tiny and uncomfortable but it gets the job done.

bed bugs or fleas

I was disappointed in the appearance of the interior, compared to other Microtels. It needs some maintenance. My children had multiple bites on their bodies from either bed bugs or fleas in their bed. Yuck! The bedding did not appear to be very clean, either.

Nice hotel with exception

The hotel was great for the most part, but I had one bad experience that partially ruined it. I'll start with the good: comfortable bed, flat screen TV, perfect location next to the airport, free continental breakfast and shuttle ride to airport. My beef was the first room I was put in had a wet washcloth wrapped up between the sheets. I assume this was a simple housekeeping mistake, but something that should not happen. It grossed me out, but thankfully they gave me a new room. I've never experienced such a thing at a hotel room before though. Otherwise, my two-night stay was very good.

Too small

The room was very small for 2 people. Smaller than a cruise ship room.

Great Hotel

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The room was lovely! We were very easily able to have our toddler share our suite with us, which is not an easy thing normally! The bed was wonderful! The sheets were very soft and great quailty, as were the pillows. The towels in the bathroom were a much higher quality than we are used to for a hotel at their price. It was great, we will definitely be staying there again. Location is very close to the airport!
