Great Value for the money

Room was a grat Value. Breakfest was below average.

Disappointed

The size of the room was very small with a locker for a closet. Would definately never stay for more than one night

Unsatified with room

The room was small & sparse. Was nto given a room with microwave & refrigerator as noted at amenity on hotel.com. They did move us to another room but it was not ready. No shampoo in room but front desk provided some. It took 10 minutes to get hot water to the room in the evening. Would not stay here again.

Excellent Value

Clean, basic, hotel. Very friendly staff. Will stay again when in the Staunton area.

Great room for the money

An earlier comment compared the room to a hospital room, and it does have a similar look with formica built-ins and flourescent lighting over the bed. But, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable with nice linens, and the hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and accomodating. There is no coffee maker, hair dryer, or amenities in the room except bath and face soap. But, for the price, you can't complain.

Needs some work

First, we got lost and tried to call the hotel for directions. We called 3 times and yet no answer from the front desk. Also, the mirror on the wall behind the bed was sort of creepy. I really did not care for that feature. Our room resembled a hospital room. It was not very comforting. However, we did enjoy the bedcovers. They were very warm and smelled great.

The room was clean & neat. Everything functioned properly. This is a smoke free hotel which is very nice.

Great room for the money.

Inexpensive furniture and construction materials help to keep cost down. Upon request, we were given a room with a fridge and microwave at no extra cost. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Free cable TV, WiFi and continental breakfast were included. Staff was friendly and helpful. I used to work for a major hotel company in DC and could not expect more for the money than this hotel offered. Would definitely book there again.
