Great comfortable room

I didn't know what to expect for the price but was very impressed with what we saw. Good breakfast, great beds and linens, and very clean. The hotel staff were excellent and met our needs. I will be staying here again.

nice size rooms, flat screen tv, separate sitting room and bed area, my son goes to ecu & I would stay there again

Micro-mini

Microtel must mean micro-mini rooms because the room was very small. The hotel is new and clean but the walls are also micro-thin. The insulation at the hotel must be awful because you can hear every move/sound your neighbor’s above/below/right/left. It made it very difficult to get a good night’s rest.

Great room for the money

This hotel might change my wife's mind about Microtel Inn. The room was quiet and very clean with none of that musty smell that you get in a lot of economy hotels. The staff was very commendable in their wish to make us comfortable.

Good place-Good price

The place is new and therefore was very clean. The appearance was nice and although the rooms are "Micro" (smaller than you may be used to), it still had everything we needed. For a to visit our son at ECU, it was perfect for a short stay at the price we got.

Overall pretty decent

A convenient, clean place. The rooms are a bit small and you have to ask for an iron and ironing board, but you can get these. The main two issues I have with the place are the thermostat (which is not easy to keep at a moderate level) and the lighting, all of which are intensely bright or off -- there is not less intrusive lighting. But the staff is friendly and the place is new, clean, and convenient.

Great hotel for the price!

This is our favorite hotel when visiting our daughter at E.C.U. The beds are extra comfy, and the rooms are always clean & tidy and include a mini fridge & microwave! During "move-in weekend" for ECU students, they even decorated the outside of the hotel in ECU purple & gold flags & balloons!
