Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 46Room Maintenance - Needs Attention
The Microtel is very conveniently located for my purposes. The room was clean and in generally good order. Staff members were always available at the desk. Cost of the hotel was reasonable. My criticisms are around room maintenance and clean up. I was at the hotel for 3 days and only had my room cleaned up on one day and that because I specifically asked them to do so. I did have the Do Not Disturb sign on the door during a few hours, but was also gone for much of the day (not DND sign) for a good share of each day. Also, the pillows were rather lumpy and caused quite a crick in my neck.

This hotel looked great from the outside, however it was not. We did request a smoking room, yet it is not standard for all smokers to be dirty. The walls were filthy; including DIRTY fingerprints on the ceitling. Upon entry we found large crumbs of food on the floor and a long black hair in the bed. This place was just gross:( This hotel will definitely be off our lists of choices. This is the ONLY bad hotel I have found through many uses of hotels.com

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 46Not as Represented
We were a group of three adults traveling together. When we arrived late on a Saturday night, we discovered that our reseved "Two Queen Bed" room actually contained one queen bed and a pull-out sleeper sofa! My wife and I got the real bed, while our friend was stuck with the pull-out. To make matters wotse, she found that the sheets had not been changed. A walk to the front desk to request fresh sheets was met with an annoyed indifference: "I don't have time for this!" Between her discomfort on the sofa-bed and her rage at this treatment, she did not sleep well. If you need to stay in this area, spend more or drive further. Avoid this place!

"Fitness Center" is a treadmill stuck in a closet. Condition is lacking, and breakfast was weak.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 46Very nice for the money
I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the quiet location. The cleaning staff starts knocking on doors a little too early (on mine at 7:30 AM), so be sure to put out your "do not disturb" card the night before if you want to sleep in. I would stay again anytime.

Horrible front desk clerk. It took well over ten minutes to get our room.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 46A little probem
The only complaint I had was that the sink stopper was disconnected. I was not unconvinced by this, just left the stopper out. This should have been found before the room was rented.

bed was comfortable. the door of the first room they gave us wouldn't lock and they origianally did not give us the suite with the microwave, fridge and coffee pot. the second room had a fridge but no microwave or coffee pot. if you just want to sleep, fine, if you need those items you will have to ask for them when you get to the hotel because even though that is what I reserved, that is not what I got.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 46Excellent Comfort - Not Overpriced
Hotel was very clean, COMFORTABLE beds and great amenities like hot breakfast, free internet, close parking to room area, safe card key outside entrance, nice lobby and breakfast bar. Housekeepers knock on doors toooo early to clean - this happened everyday however they were so kind in the halls when passing our family every day. We know they want to clean rooms quickly but that was very annoying.
