Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 36Great Hotel
The hotel was clean and quiet. The hotel was friendly and helpful. A bit out of central Springfield, but in a nice area.

Very clean, very nice staff, breakfast ok, for being a two star hotel is better than expected.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 36COMFORTABLE
Very comfortable bed after being out all day. Microtel overall is clean and comfortable. The only drawback for me is the TV's are to high for good enjoyment. Nice sofa area; but you have to lok at the ceiling to watch TV; causes neck strain. Plus being away you increase the volume, not god for neighbors.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 36smart design
Stayed in their smallest room, but it was smartly designed with built in storage and a window seat. Very clean rooms although elevator and lobby could have used some tlc. great location - plenty of restaurants nearby. would stay again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 36"Micro"tel says a lot
Booked a queen room and was very surprised the queen bed took up most of the room. Not for travelers with claustrophobia! Room was clean, however, and otherwise acceptable. No amenities like shampoo and no little sign advising that if I forgot something like that to see the front desk. Evidently they forgot to put a, "Do not disturb" handle hangar in my room also. Breakfast was sparse. Not the usual hot waffles in most chains. These were of the possibly frozen and then thawed variety. No fresh fruit or yogurt. Would I stay again? Probably but now I know what I'm getting in to.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 36Just one problem
We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, and generously sized. The kitchenette included in our suite was a pleasant find. The only complaint I had was that despite our two-day reservation, we were checked out (without our knowledge) after the first night, and another guest walked into our room the second evening, having been assigned to our room when he checked in. After that our keys did not work, and we were charged for a night we had already paid for. The staff straightened it all out and refunded the extra charges, but it was a little bit of a headache. However, I think it was probably a fluke, and overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
