Metropolitan Hotel

very nice hotel, a little bit expensive

It was very nice, staff were accomodating, a little bit pricy, but i guess it was high tourist season

Nice place, location, smallish room, limited pool hours

Like other Israel lodgings, the rooms are somewhat smaller than we're accustomed for similar prices and levels in the U.S. but comfortable. The staff, while doing their job, are less "hospitality oriented" than in U.S. (more brusque). Also Israel hotels have an annoying policy of pool/lounging area only open in limited hours -- some open it only 9-5, others open it only after 5. The location was great -- near the beach and near town center. Food in Israel, even for a (non-kosher) Jew like myself is not great with the notable exception of the buffet breakfast which here, as in other Israel hotels, was terrific.

Truly basic - small rooms.

The location is relatively convenient and the hotel is clean. The rooms are small and the furnishings basic.

Slightly worn but nice hotel

The Metropolitan could use some renovations but it is a nice hotel very conveniently located near the beach in Tel Aviv. The rooms are comfortable but very worn. Decor must be 25 years old. But it is clean. The Israeli breakfast was the best I had in 2 weeks in Israel.

Outstanding Hotel in a great location!

Hotel was convenient to everything, a block from the beach, even had a view of the beach. Hotel was very comfortable. Food was delicous, wonderful breakfast every day. Staff was accomodating. Free WiFi! Will definitely return to this hotel next trip to Tel Aviv!

Very convinient

This hotel is located very good, one block from the Hayarkon Blvd. and the sea. And same distance to Ben Yehuda. The busses are right there to take you anywhere. We had a suit clean and spacy. It was simple not so fancy but efficient. The onlt thing the sabath price almost doubled.

Excellent Stay

The staff was super helpful in every way!I easily can recommend this hotel.

Great satisfaction

The hotel was well located; staff was very helpful and ready to please. The room was certainly adequate although the bathroom was small. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others and would return for our our personal stays.

Good hotel for the money

The location is great, one block from the sea. Easy access to town, by foot or by bus. Israeli breakfast plentiful. Desk personnel helpful day or night. Room contains one corner window, not too clean. You have to turn your head sharply for a tiny view of the Sea.
