Location. Set in a converted 19th-century building, the landmark Metropole Hotel is located on Place de Brouckere in central Brussels, Belgium. The hotel is one block from Rue Neuve, as well as 500 metres from the Grand Place square, Manneken Pis statue, and Chocolate Museum. Brussels Zaventem Airport is 16 kilometres away.

Hotel Features. The lobby evokes 19th-century grandeur with bronze marble, gold columns, and huge chandeliers. Built in 1895, Metropole Hotel is the city's oldest hotel. The baroque-style L'Alban Chambon restaurant features stained-glass windows, ochre marble columns, and parquet floors. The restaurant serves French dishes like risotto with Saint-Jacques scallops and wild boar in a sesame-seed crust. Champagne is available in the bar. Opening onto a heated, canopied terrace, Cafe Metropole serves light meals and pastries.
