Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 18A disappointment
The hotel was farther from sites than expected, but our biggest disappointment was the ongoing construction right next door that created ongoing noise starting early in the day.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 18Great hotel, but construction next door
The hotel was great. My husband arrived early and they actually upgraded us for free because they didn't have any regular rooms available at the time. Very clean, spacious (for Europe), great atmosphere. Convenient to the metro stop. Only downside is there was construction next door very noisy all day during the week. We were out touring mostly, so it wasn't a big deal, but I could have slept in a little longer in the morning. For the money, we were overall very happy with our stay.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 18Excellent Hotel
This was an excellent hotel!! It required a little work to get to from the Wien West Hbf (main train station): a two block walk to a tram station, a 7 minute tram ride, transfer to U-Bahn for a brief ride, and then a three block walk to the hotel. The public transit makes the trip very easy. The room was quite large with an office/living space, the bedroom area, and a nice-sized bathroom. The three block walk to the U-Bahn station makes the hotel well located for easy access to anywhere in Vienna.

hotel is in the 2nd district of Vienna, but within walking distance of the inner city. Vienna is safe, so walking, even at night, is not a problem. Hotel was spotless, staff friendly, and delivered on all promises. highly recommended!

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 18Mercure Imlauer Wien
Rated 4 stars it had no elevator in our section. We stayed 3 nights and they assumed we wanted the same sheets and towels. A spot on the sheet would have stayed there if I hadn't gotten a clean one from the cabinet outside. The front desk clerk was very good about helping us. We did not eat the breakfast for some ridiculous price. The whole city was highly overpriced, but had the most fantastic statues and buildings. The picture of the front looked much better than the real front. Compared to the prices we saw for other hotels we probably would stay there again. The no smoking floor did not smell which isn't always the case.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 18Nice hotel, good value
The hotel is a very good one indeed. The service was above expectations, and the members of staff were very pleasant and helpful. The surrounding neighborhood is not great, however. The hotel is, however, close to the Nestroyplatz U-Bahn, and downtown is merely two stops away, or a 15-minute walk.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 18Very good hotel
The hotel staff is very helpful even with a slight language barrier. The staff spoke English reasonably well and I had no difficulty communicating my needs. I had a small problem with my room, caused by a leak in the plumbing in a room above mine, and the maintenance guy was there in minutes and fixed the problem very quickly. The food selection for lunch snacks is limited but very tasty and well presented. Overall I'll stay there again when I'm back in Vienna.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 18A Nice Repeater
Location, Location, location. Excellent availability for local train system. Very short distance to subway, with large train station within walking distance. Hotel Staff was very helpful. Would have loved to had a Microwave in the room. Europe's 4 star hotels are not comparable to USA 4 stars, but I would definitely use this hotel again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 18Good location
Accommodations were as represented. Good, comfortable, mid-range hotel. Room somewhat larger than some singles that I have stayed in in Europe. Only a short walk to 2 subway lines, buses, trams. Easy walk to main shopping district and Stephansdom area. Breakfast seems pricey and should be included with room.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 18Great room for the money
very clean; large bathroom; good location, near a subway; prompt friendly service. The breakfast costs a fortune, but I saw people stashing away food for lunch with no complaints from the staff. So, I guess if it's breakfast AND lunch, the price is ok! Still, if you're too shy to do that, as I was, be prepared to eat breakfast elsewhere. Otherwise a very good hotel.
