    This hotel was clean, friendly, and truly comfortable. It was far away from the attractions of Dusseldorf though. It cost 5 euro's per person for a shuttle to the airport which is a great deal (40 for a taxi)and had a terrific breakfast (for $15 euro's per person). However, although there is a bus stop nearby, traveling into downtown Dusseldorf takes a long bus ride or a costly cab ride. Although the hotel is excellent, the location is not.

    For the price we paid it far exceeded our expectations. The room was very roomy and well maintained. THe staff was very courteous and helpful. Best of all the hotel was very quiet even with the windows open. We would recommend this hotel for anyone nneding a nights lodging before flying from the Dusseldorf airport. It is a short 15 minute drive to the airport. We expected some traffic between the 6-8AM hour but there was none. Wouldstay there again and agian.

Location. Mercure Hotel Duesseldorf Airport is located eight kilometres from Dusseldorf Airport and 13 kilometres from the centre of Ratingen, Germany. Dusseldorf city centre is 20 kilometres away.

Hotel Features. This four-storey modern hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with a sun terrace. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can offer currency exchange and tour assistance.
