Great people ......great service!!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised. The people are very friendly and the service was outstanding. When I went to check out and they asked when my flight was, so that they could provide transportation, I told them my flight wasn't for another 12 hours. The desk clerk gave me my room key back and told me that I could have my room back at no charge for additional four hours to relax and enjoy and he would provide transport at that time to the airport. You can't ask for much more than that. Also, the room service is excellent!! Fast, courteous, and the food is great! Your money is well spent at the Mercure Grand Hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Qatar.

Good for the money

Good stay...first room was very smokey and dirty. I called the desk and was transfered right away, no questions asked and was very happy with non-smoking room. The hotel staff was very good and the amenities were above average. Free shuttle to and from the airport was great. Taxi's all around the hotel made for easy travel in Doha. Above average pool and workout room. I would stay again.

Outstanding Hotel

It really was nice. When I showed up to check in, a guy came out with a wet face cloth for me to clean up. Free ride back to the airport. It was very nice.

Needs Improvement

The room was not clean. The food was bad and the lost power and no one was available to help with bags. I had to bring them down from 9th flour.
