Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 3A pleasant surprise
At first sight I was very concerned with the appearance. However, the rooms are new and immaculate. A refrigerator and microwave are in each room. It is 3 blocks from Beale St. which is the reason we booked. The staff was efficient and attentive. A perfect place when a bath and comfortable bed is all you need.

The price was OK. The newly remodeled room was to small for 2 double beds. We had a hard time getting around a bed to get into the restroom. The telephone was in pieces and did not work. The room had a very strong chemical smell that was hard to take. Like someone had used a strong cleaner or room sanitizer to cover up some other smell. The lobby is to small to have a continental breakfast. If you wanted a roll, muffin or cereal, you had to take it to your room, there wasn't any room for tables or chairs.
