    The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are unique, as this is the former Treasury Bldg...very carefully restored! Loved the rooms, and location was perfect...right in town across from the square...next to free trams and regular trams and buses! Would love to stay here again....we hated to leave!

    We just spent 3 nights at this hotel in Sept. 2009. We had 2 rooms with 2 adults in each room. From the moment we walked into this hotel until the end of our stay, we couldn't have been happier anywhere else. The staff was very friendly, cheerful, and helpful! The charm of this hotel is wonderful. Rooms have a history, which is outside their door, and all are different. We were each upgraded to a 1 bedroom with full kitchen, and large living area. My parents room had a curved ceiling that still had the original brick. There is a nice courtyard,with a fountain. The basement contains a large lap pool, jacuzzi, steam room, AND underground rooms and tunnels that were once used to transport gold and important records to the treasury, as this had once been the Treasury Dept building! The architecture is beautiful and the restoration is amazing. This hotel is located right in the middle of town, by the Square. Free trams and buses are just outside, as well as regular trams and buses. Location was great and the hotel was excellent!!!

Location. Medina Grand Adelaide Treasury, along with a restaurant and New York-style bar, occupies the heritage-listed former Treasury Building. Three blocks are the business center, retail stores and major tourist attractions. Adelaide Airport is six kilometers away.

Hotel Features. Located on Victoria Square opposite the city's main general post office, Medina Grand Adelaide Treasury occupies a beautifully-restored, four-storey Georgian building of bluestone foundations, vaulted ceilings, ornate staircases, cast- iron columns and long, wide corridors. Guest amenities include an indoor heated pool, sauna, spa tub and gym. A pantry service is available to guests, along with a charge-back facility at a selection of local restaurants and cafes. Parking is available nearby. Three boardroom-style conference and function rooms are located within the hotel.

Guestrooms. One- and two-bedroom apartments feature restored Georgian architectural accents and high ceilings. Amenities include separate living and sleeping quarters, kitchens or kitchenettes, laundries, high-speed Internet access, work desks, CD players, bathroom with combined shower/bath and in-room safes. More compact studio rooms with open-plan living and sleeping areas are also available.

Expert Tip. Guests can try the free city-loop buses ("the Connector" and the solar-powered "Tindo") to visit the main tourist attractions, or take the city-to-bay tram from Victoria Square (outside the hotel) some 11 kilometres to the popular beachside suburb of Glenelg to discover a vibrant dining precinct and patrolled beach.
