I thought long and hard before I decided to stay here. I read good reviews, but the price was high for the area and their website is terrible. Fortunately the actual experience was beyond my expectations. I stayed in a garden villa and t was a secluded little piece of heaven. The room was lovely, bed was comfortable, but my favorite was the daybed in the garden. What a great spot to relax and read a good book. The spa was also fabulous, I had a good massage therapist and the spot next to the river made it even better. The restaurant and pool next to the spa are also worth a trip. If you want to stay at a higher end place in Bali, i would definitly reccomend this one.

This hotel is amazing. You pay the premium for the views/tranquility, but it is well worth it. Most of the hotels in Ubud are in very busy locations, so it is hard to get away from the noise of scooters and cars. Maya is away from all of this in a secluded valley, yet still close to the action of town. This place is the Bali that we imagined.
