Yulia at the desk did a great job as well as everyone else there. Nice place just hard to ind from the subway station esp at night.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 4Not best for international travelers
The hotel is a nice place, small elevator compared to over here in America, but all the hotels I stayed at in Russia suffered the same short-coming, the reason I had problems the Maxima Irbis, is the fact that, as an international traveler, they are supposed to stamp your Russian immigration card you have to fill out and they put with your visa, they did not do this, and it lead to some problems towards the end of my trip trying to find a place that would stamp/register me. They police weren't open untill the 12th on jan due to holiday, checked with them afterwards, and they said local post office, post office said police...it was a run around, if Maxima Irbis had done it in the first place like they were supposed to do, it would have saved me several days worth of a headache.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 4What a breakfast!
Nice room; outstandingly big, hot, complimentary breakfast. Great value. Easily to get to from the metro. NOTE: When getting off the metro at the Vladikino station, be sure to use the exit that leads to the garden path and then to the Regis Cinema. Due to train tracks and such, you'll get lost if you use the other metro exit. If you come out the wrong door by accident, you'll need to go back inside and around (and pay again).
