Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 60Great room, hard to find!
This was a great hotel with a very nice room. Clean and comfortable! Our breakfast was included with our room (which website didn't say, so ask!). It was fantastic! Hotel was hard to find just because it is on a side road and the sign was hard to see esp. in the dark!

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 60Nice hotel - not so good on whom they let stay there
Our stay was very nice - the breakfast included was fantastic as well as Ray the gentleman who took care of us. But across the hall from us, the hotel rented a room to some young high school-college age boys who partied till 2:45 in the morning - until my husband took it upon himself to go nock on their door to tell them to dial it down. They were obviously under age drinking excessively and smoking pot. I would assume there would be a minimum age that a hotel will rent to people without an adult. Needless to say we got little to NO sleep and made everyone grouchy and ruined what was supposed to be a nice weekend away.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 60Great room for the money!
We were looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night in St. Louis but with a decent rating. This place filled the bill. The breakfast was excellent and we wished we had left more time to enjoy it. We would definitely stay there again next time!

An excellent stay in an excellent hotel. A bit tricky to find, but an easy to access location.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 60Skimping on amenities and charging for Continental breakfast!
No microwave or couch in room. They charge $7 per adult and $5 per child for the Continental breakfast! Really! The only plus is the double mattress was very comfortable. I would rather have stayed at a Motel 6 for the price as the amenities were similar.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 60Excellent Stay
I frankly loved this hotel, the stay, and the staff. A bit tricky to find but WELL worth it, this hotel is set along the access road next to Maryville University. Somewhat confusing is that there are a lot of signs nearby directing you to the "regular" Marriott, but they're used to folks showing up there and asking directions (I did) and are quick with assistance. The room was large and had plenty of room. A sofa, bed, and a largish work table made the bulk of the room, with a good-sized flat panel screen dominating the short dresser. The room itself was quiet--though facing the main road there's not a great deal of traffic there and I never heard road noise. One minor complaint was the cooling/heating unit--it had "Hi/Lo" setting for Fan, Heat, and Cooling, but nothing that let me just set a temp. I got up a couple of times that first night to turn it up or down as needed. That was a bit annoying but manageable. Very friendly staff--they cheerfully made me a new key when I accidentally locked myself out of my room. Breakfast was part of my booking -- I never had any due to schedules, but it looked and smelled good. There were free newspapers (Wall Street Journal and USA Today) in the lobby which was a great touch. I was VERY pleased with this hotel, and would gladly stay there again the next time I'm in the St. Louis area.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 60Clean, but very uncomfortable beds
The staff was friendly, the room was clean, but this was probably the most uncomfortable, soft bed I've ever slept on. I literally sunk into the bed when I sat on it. If they would upgrade the beds I would stay there again.
