    The hotel is centrally located, about 2 miles from Kremlin and one block away from the Belorusskaya subway station. My room was pretty small and was totally not what I expected. I could hear outside noise from construction even though the room wasn't facing the street. My biggest problem with this hotel was that even though I booked a room with two beds, they had none available and I was put into a smaller one with one queen, they were nice enough to bring a rolling bed, so it left even less space in the room. The beds are pretty comfortable and the bed sheets meet Marriott standards, no doubt about it. Their stuff is friendly, polite and speak English.

Location. The Moscow Marriott Tverskaya Hotel is located in central Moscow, Russia, 2.5 kilometres from Red Square and seven kilometres from Gorky Park.

Hotel Features. This modern eight-storey hotel features an Art Nouveau façade and a galleried atrium lobby. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can offer currency exchange, concierge services, tour assistance, and the use of a safe-deposit box. The public areas have wireless Internet access (surcharge), and complimentary newspapers are on offer in the lobby.

Restaurant Gratzi serves Russian specialities and Mediterranean dishes in a traditionally styled setting, and the hotel's Lobby Bar serves coffees, snacks, and drinks.

Business services include copying, faxing and secretarial support, and meeting and conference facilities are available.

Fitness equipment, a sauna, and massage treatments are available on site. Guests can also enjoy complimentary use of the fitness and spa facilities at the nearby Marriott Grand Hotel.

Guestrooms. The 162 guestrooms have light decor and traditional furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, desks, air conditioning, and wireless Internet access (surcharge). Expert Tip. Visit the Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed, better known in the West as St Basil's, 2.5 kilometres from the hotel in Red Square. Built by Ivan the Terrible between 1554 and 1560 to celebrate victories over Kazan and Astrakhan, its highly coloured onion-shaped domes are instantly recognisable.
