would stay here again

In walking distance to Bourbon Street and Superdome room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Was considerably cheaper than Sheraton across the street and I couldn't see any big difference.

Not worth the price

The hotel lobby gives customers the image that the hotel is a nice but the rooms were not the best. Beds were uncomfortable and stiff, I put the ac at 65 but the room never got below 75, and the additional charge for parking is ridiculous.

Great Hotel

the beds were very comfortable and I didn't want to leave. The linens wonderful, clean, fresh crisp. The lobby was beautiful and clean. Location between the casino and French Quarter was good.

Awesome hotel, outstanding location

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel was within walking distance to everything, the rooms were nice with very comfortable beds, the staff was incredibly helpful, the lobby area was very, very nice and overall I was totally pleased with my stay. I rely heavily on user reviews when I choose a hotel, so I hope that others will find this review helpful. If you stay in New Orleans and want to do "touristy" stuff, if you stay here you will not need to rent a car. Within a very short walk to the Market, Harrah's Casino, RiverWalk, Bourbon Street...pretty much everything. Awesome hotel overall, and I would definately stay here again as well as recommend it to others.

Great room and location for the money.

The hotel was located within walking distance of everything. If you want a riverside view (as opposed to a view of the city) you must request a double occupancy room. We didn't find that out until we got there. The rooms are a bit small, but we didn't stay in our rooms much, so it really didn't matter. Before we went I read a rating that complained about the shower either being too hot or too cold. That is true!!!! Also, we tipped housekeeping for more towels and extra coffee, yeah, that didn't happen . . . they took the tip though! I had also read about a similar occurrence in a review. The hotel bar makes a mean Cajun Mary. Despite the water issue. I would stay there again. Just will go elsewhere for coffee.

Great Staff

We picked the hotel for the location--a short walk to the French Quarter. The staff made the stay a delight. Everyone we came in contact with was helpful and friendly. They really made us feel welcome --they were great examples of Southern Hospitality. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. And the lobster macaroni served in the hotel restaurant is a treat you shouldn't miss.
