Nice room, nice location (for events at Texas Motor Speedway), but poor service. First night noticed that bath tub would barely drain when you took a shower. That can happen and I understand, but I notified front desk next morning and she said she would take care of it. Next night same thing and when front desk was informed upon our checkout, she didn't seem to care one little bit. That is not my definition of customer service.

They will deliver you to your gate for the race but be aware they will not pick you back up from that gate. Be ready for a walk! Other than that awesome hotel and staff I will stay here again!

I must preface my comments by indicating that my stay was during 1 of the 3 races that are held down the road. The fact that the track is so close to the hotel is a definite plus. They provided shuttle service to and from the track. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hotel itself is very nice. However, with that said, I will explain why I did not give it all 5's. I arrived at 4:00 p.m. Check in was at 3:00 p.m. When I arrived I was told that there weren't any clean rooms and they could store my belongings. I explained that I was told check was at 3, I was on my way to the race, and had to take my mother and daughter up to the room now not later. After much discussion, they finally scrambled to get a room w/in 15 minute. I don't have tolerance for a room not being ready when reservations are made ahead of time and I arrived after check-in time. I feel sorry for guests who don't insist and just have to accept their poor service. Also, the walls between rooms are very thin. We could hear the elevators going up and down all night and were woken up at 3:00 a.m by 3 very loud guests (the hotel has a bar open until 1:30 a.m). I finally called the front desk and I do commend them as they sent someone up right away and the noise ceased. The next morning when checking out I mentioned how unhappy I was and the attendant merely asked if I had eaten breakfast already. I indicated that I did and she said, "oh". I was not very impressed by their lack of concern.

We really enjoyed our stay for the evening of the 2008 Bombardier Learjet IRL race. The hotel provided golf cart transportation to and from your gate at the track which was great!!! It did seem as if the hotel was a little understaffed for the busy weekend. They had plenty of valets and bellmen but, the lounge was totally understaffed. It was still a great stay. We will definitely return for next years race and we will be bringing others. Thanks.
