Roaches in the kitchen

The place was great other than that. The location couldnt be better. The grounds were well maintained. If I needed anything all I had to do was ask and It was delivered to me within 30 min (extra frying pan, cookie sheet. the first day I was there I opened an avacado ate half, left the rest on the counter only to return 5 min later and discover roaches were eating it. I never saw them again ( I was there 5 days). I simply put all food away in the fridge. They also let me upgrade my room and check out 3 hours later with no charge. I will definately stay here again.

great room for the money

I was very happy with the size of the room. anyone that came to visit was very suprised on the size. we highly recommend this hotel and we definetly be back

Were pleasantly surprised

Reading the previous reviews, we set our expectations fairly low, and were surprised. Very spacious one-bedroom, two full bed unit. Yes, the kitchen was very dated, but all was in working order. Continental Buffet was available Saturday morning only, somewhat odd, but again, not expected. If you arrive Mon-Fri, highly recommend a trip across the street to the casino buffet - $9.95 for exceptional variety. Borrowed some tennis equipment for some play on the nice courts, again, a pleasant surprise. Not a resort, but more of a hotel feel with apartment-like units. Overall, great value, clean, good service.

Dated but Great

The furnishings in the room were very dated, but the location, cleanliness, size of the room, and price were perfect. I would absolutely stay there again.

Great place for the family - very large rooms

The hotel furniture was very worn and outdated, and some appliances were a little outdated. However, the rooms are quite spacious. I also loved the location of the hotel, it was a three minute walk to the main street(shopping and dining). I give the front desk staff an A+. All in all, not bad, rates were very reasonable!

Very large and clean room

Great room with full kitchen, living area and bedroom. The bathroom was large with separate bath and shower areas and Large vanity. Our room also had a fireplace (didn't use) and an outside patio area for our room with two round tables and chairs. Very nice for morning coffee time. Great.

Really big one bedroom

We found the Marquis Villas to be great for our needs. They are just two blocks off the main street in Palm Springs, have huge beautiful rooms looking down on a huge beautiful pool, and the units are nicely furnished with full kitchens. One draw back is that they are doing a lot of repairs around the property, which is showing some aging such as paint, carpet, etc. But overall, a great place for a family to stay a few days, or a week.
