Best value in Cabo

I consider the Marquis to be one of the top three resort hotels in the hotel corridor. I have stayed at the other two. Marquis is clearly the best value. Aside from value, the hotel setting is beautiful, the staff are terrific. We will be returning in October.

Outstanding Hotel Experience

This by far was our best Hotel experience. The rooms are beautiful, views incredible and service unlike any other I have experienced and it was all genuine. The food was some of the best we have ever had and we live in Seattle with some of the best choices and quality of seafood and we couldn't stop saying how wonderful everything is. Tip and Gratiuity were included and we felt the food was reasonable if not a bargain for the super quality and taste. We can't wait to go back!!!!!!!

Private, Luxurious Hotel

This hotel is private & offers the best service. The spa is one of the finest that I have experienced. All food offerings are excellent & the gourmet restaurant "Canto Del Mar" is beyond excellent. My husband & I have stayed in several hotels in the Los Cabos/San Jose Del Cabo area thru-out the 18 years we have been traveling there & although Marquis is not the least expensive it certainly offers the most luxurious services & surroundings for the money!!!

Great Location to Relax

I recently visited the hotel for an anniversary celebration. The hotel is great location to relax and get away from the density of other hotel locations in the Los Cabos two main cities. If you don't need all the clubs and night life associated with the city locations it was fine. The multiple restaurants and room service were convienient and good quality. The rooms were a great size for two people, but may be small for a family because of the pull out couch. The music stations on the TV were a nice touch. If you like eating on your balcony overlooking the ocean every morning, then the breakfast service delivered to your room in a special cubby is perfect. Just add some juice and extra fruit and your are all set. The infinity pools next to the ocean were the best because of their relaxing nature and bath water temps. They had a cooler pool for those that like that. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. They charge a $35.00 daily service fee (to cover tips and the health club) that I though was a little steep, but considering the room rate it was all relative. It is one of the cleanest places I have ever been. They had people out cleaning and polishing all the time. If you are lucky to be there in January or February the whales were spectacular. We had at least a hundred sightings near the hotel (most within a few 100 yards of shore). Overall if you are looking for a place to relax without kids (not many present) then this is the place.

Outstanding

Found possitives from other reviews very true and negitive comments were over stated. Actually we enjoyed the interplay with people from the smaller meetings that were concurrent with our stay and if some people don't like the evening party noise (and live bar entertainment) they can close their balcony doors and miss the enchanting sound of the surf crashing into the shore all night long. Los Cabos is a great place to visit and the people are very friendly. Have a great vacation.

Amazing Hotel

This was our second time at the Marquis and we will stay there anytime we come to Cabo. Everything from the pools, the turn-down service in our room every night and the breakfast placed in our nook every morning makes this hotel a step above anythng else. The Canto del Mar restuarant is one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed and we live in the Napa Valley.
